I purchased this because I could not get the original mirror I ordered delivered in time for my salon opening. Im SO GLAD I ORDERED THIS!! Im keeping this one instead, its gorgeous! NOT a flimsy piece. Ill be ordering more for my house. Thank you!
This mirror is classy and elegant. It puts a great touch to my newly renovated bathroom. It is simple in design and looks far more expensive than it sells for. It is heavy, but I had a contractor to install it. I am thinking of buying another one, this time in the darker color, for another bathroom renovation.
The mirrors are gorgeous. Heavy and well made. The color is a lovely champagne bronze - not the tacky yellow/gold you often see.
As most reviews mentioned, these are very, very heavy, and it understandably makes you wonder whether its safe to hang using the hardware provided. The answer is yes.
The picture hanging hooks provided can hold up to 50lb each (100lb between the 2 of them), and the mirror weighs approx. 30lb. We hung ours on drywall - they did not align with studs. No problem.
Sure, you can get your own anchors if you want, but I really dont see the need to, and I personally prefer a single nail than having to drill a hole for an anchor (I hate drilling into drywall).
Its possible that there have been one or two mishaps, but mirrors have hundreds if not thousands of consistently near-perfect reviews for a reason, and I hardly think the company would risk the reputation of their products by providing you with hardware that is unfit for the job.
My one complaint is that the hardware on the back of the mirror was mounted at slightly different heights for the two mirrors we got (2/8 inch), making it unnecessarily difficult to get the two mirrors hung neatly side by side, but we managed and I wont deduct a full star for it.
Loved the look of the mirror. But when installed it appeared dark looking into it. Also could not get it to look clean. The more you cleaned the mirror the more smudges it got. Even had the shower glass installer try to clean it and he said the same thing. We sent them back.
My wife has been looking for the perfect rounded edge mirror for a long time. A quick search on lead us to this one. I being the wise shopper I am saw there was one on a warehouse deal for an amazing price. I jumped on it once I found it. Once it arrived I looked over the packaging and the mirror. The mirror has a small bend that isnt noticeable so win win. Weve been updating our bathroom and this was the perfect piece to bring an outdated medicine cabinet to life.
The mirror is very pretty but even with very careful installation, the thin metal frame warped where our hands held it up. Its not noticeable unless you are really looking for it, but I would have expected better quality for the price.
Its a pretty hefty mirror. My only problem was it came with gray scratches on the top of its white frame. Luckily my client couldnt see the top of it, once mounted. But packaging isnt sufficient, seemingly, and you may need two people to mount it. Perfect slots in back for two-screw mounting.
