This bed frame is exactly what youre paying for. A well made MDF bed frame that will last a long time, with a little help. If you build this bed, leave it in one place and never move it, it should be just fine. Moving it once its assembled is going to destroy it. I added bracketing and supports to the headboards and bed rails like many others have, and it improves the strength of the bed immensely. Just scroll through the reviews and youll find many people that have taken the time to reinforce the frame with great results. Make sure you get this bed 100 squared up on each corner or you will have issues with drawers not closing right. I averted most of those issues because I took the time beforehand to make sure everything was square and true. One suggestion though, once you get the drawers in, if you notice one might be a little higher or lower than the others, just move a couple of the drawers around. Makes a big difference. With a little work, this bed is a great value for the price.
There were small scratches all over the drawers and a piece that was broke that looked like it was glued back in but I dont have time to send it back and get a new one to see if its good (or worse) so we just put it together anyways other then that very happy with it
I had this bed frame for almost 4 years. It was great for a while! But not the best quality. Parts broke and the wooden slats never stayed in place. They put splinters in our mattress. Its not worth almost 400 that we paid for it (mostly wedding gift cards), but probably better priced around 200 for the quality.
This bed is GREAT. It was a bit of a pain to put together, some of the holes didnt line up with where the screw needed to be so I drilled about 4 new holes on my own. Besides that I had no issues. I dont see this bed lasting more than 10 years but what does these days Drawers are medium depth but any deeper and the bed would be too high for my liking. Im overall extremely happy with it and I recommend this bedframe
This is a good, sturdy bed if you read the User Reviews and find the procedure/parts list posted by the reviewer Kindle Customer on July 4, 2010. Read his review, buy the parts he identifies, and follow his directions and you will LOVE the resulting bed you have built. You will be adding (8) L/brackets that need 4 screws each so you will need 32 of the 6 x 5/8 screws (Lowes sells a bag of 18 screws so get two bags). Im not going to reproduce what Kindle Customer wrote; find his review/instructions, then buy your bed and get the items on his parts list. You will be amed at how good of a bed you get for your efforts!

Priced too high for quality

Absolutely love my new bed.
Can be a great bed if you reinforce it when you build it
