We just moved and needed a king bed and after looking, pricing, looking some more, I settled on this frame.
I was so excited when it showed up (and that my husband was at work) I couldnt wait, so I put it together all by myself! Very easy, the instructions were very clear, everything was labeled on where the pieces go, and only took about 20/30 minutes to do!
We have 2 smaller dogs and wanted a shorter bed to help with them jumping up or down (afraid of the steps we bought them) and this is perfect!
Very sturdy, also. Have not felt any worry it would fall apart or end up being junk. I love this bed frame!! And its a great looking piece!!
Combined with the maple wood frame, cant image a Queen/size mattress/frame anywhere under 500 that could match this value and quality. Left/side sleeper and sleeping very soundly on the bed. For looks and functions its an outstanding deal when considering the sticker shock of mattresses these days. Excellent product.
1st day to have it, havent slept on it yet. So far No cons, just pros! Super sturdy king size for my memory foam bed! The way it is built, i think it would be incredibly hard for it to make a noise since all the supports are locked in with rubber. The instructions were spot on, the packaging was aming, protected, and organized. It did take me about 3hours to build, because it has a lot of parts and did it by myself. The packaging was super heavy, I recommend this being a 2 man job instead of one. It is worth every dime, especially if you are looking for something to last. Ill update in a month to check for any squeaks:D
I was a bit weary after reading the reviews; however, if you follow the directions step by step it comes together fairly easily. The bed is sturdy and does not creek or squeak. The wood is a bit darker than I anticipated but still very nice.
Overall, I think I got my moneys worth. A couple of issues. One: the headboard had a small scratch in the black powder coating(?) showing the underneath. Not enough to warrant returning. And the frame itself is maybe 2 inches too wide for a standard queen size mattress, resulting in the frame extending out slightly under the mattress on each side.
This was super easy to assemble reading following the instructions! It did squeak whenever I tossed or turned the first night but overall comfort level 10/10 because I slept for 8 hours total.

Does squeek a lot when you move at all in bed. Otherwise very good product
