Very functional with the right aesthetics! And because its not real I dont have to worry about my kids greasy fingers! In order to make sure that it screws in evenly, I found that its best for one person to sit in the chair while another person tightens the screws.

Update in June 2020 over a year since I bought this. and I am still using it every day as my primary chair during the Covid work from home stuff. I sit 8/12hrs a day in it (probably not recommended) and I never feel sore. I need a real office chair since my position will become permanently remote from home but I have to say I have felt VERY LITTLE discomfort and I have a good 500 hours in this chair at this point maybe more and I to this day have ZERO regrets. I actually was looking at some new chairs as actual ergo office chairs and it made me think I need to update my review so people can see this isnt some gimmick chair. Its not the best chair on earth but its hard to believe anyone would say its uncomfortable. I love it and will probably order another one eventually should this one fall apart or have issues with all the hours Ive spent in it. If I paid 150 for this chair I still wouldnt regret it. But I didnt. I paid half that. Even after all these hours in it, the chair feels just as comfortable as when I wrote my first review! One year later (or more) and I STILL highly recommend it!
I needed a small desk setup in my room where I could work without bothering my fiancee so I bought a small desk and chair on . I got this chair and I was sort of worried about it being the right fit. The looks so nice and the chair as a whole looks great. Looks MUCH nicer than <100 chair. If I saw this at Herman Miller for 150 and sat in it I wouldnt think it was overpriced. The chair doesnt have super thick cushioning but you wouldnt be able to tell. It has a thinner yet dense pad where you sit and it feels like it perfectly shapes your butt. I have sat in it for 8 hours straight working with minimal breaks and felt absolutely no discomfort. I didnt intend for this to be a chair for working in long periods but it happens and I am always comfortable. I dont feel any hardness under the cushion since it is so dense it absorbs and cushions very very well. I would ABSOLUTELY buy another one of these if I needed one.
If you want a simple but very NICE and COMFORTABLE chair this is the one for you. My fiancee is very picky about the styles we have in the house and she was shocked at how nice this chair was and even said it would fit naturally with most styles. Very very happy with this rchase and it took no more than 5 minutes to assemble without even looking at the instructions. You literally just screw the legs into the bottom of the seat and youre done!

Obsesssssed you have to get these! Only 179 for 4 chairs? So cry! I wasnt expecting them to be as sturdy and comfortable as they are! Literally obsessed.
