LOVE THIS SOFA!
It arrived in 8 boxes a little more than a week after ordering. The first box arrived about 3 days before the rest, but no worries!
Every box that contained an ottoman also contained parts for that specific piece AND a screwdriver. It was incredibly convenient, and now I have 5 extra screwdrivers .
Assembly was super easy after the first seat. This is of course because it always takes a hot second to figure out what youre doing, and all of the seats assemble the same way. I did this by myself in just under 2 hours. (I have 3 kids, and the toddler kept getting into the parts or was just in the way in general. For someone without kids in the way, this wouldnt take more than an hour).
Its incredibly sturdy, and all of the pieces have connectors to hold it together-and they are both easy to install/remove if you want to do some rearranging.
Packaging of each piece was exceptional. Everything was tightly bagged and covered inside each box. No dirt or stains or flaws of any kind.
Its firm, but not uncomfortable at all. Its really nice not to sink into the sofa. I cant wait to be able to sit on it for 10 consecutive minutes at some point during nap time. ??
Because of my young kids, I ordered a couple of tables to place behind it for added stability. We have floor heaters so we cant put it against the wall.
Overall, Im extremely satisfied with this sofa, the customer service (as they were quick to provide the 7 additional tracking numbers), the quality, and the comfort.
Lastly, Im excited about the price. It didnt break the bank like other large sectionals would, and it fits my whole family of 5 very comfortably.
Need something bigger with storage and the ability to reconfigure it? Get this.
The couch is even prettier in person. Fabric feels like chenille. Great for storage. Cushions are not plush, they are definitely firm. My kids think its hard, but my cat digs it. Seats are not deep, but the dimensions are in the listing, so you know what you're getting for size. The assembly was super easy and rearranging the seats is very simple. I took a picture the connecting brackets on the seat backs. They screw into predrilled holes and drop into the predrilled holes on the ottoman. Easy peasy. I do have slight concern with the security of the backs, since that is literally how they attach. That's it. Will my husband end up in a gymnastic back flip if he leans too far? Although funny, it would break my couch, so for couch's sake, I hope it never happens. I wish they made a double ottoman in aqua ($159), but so far only grey and beige, so I'll have to go another route instead of buying 2 ottomans and connecting them ($258 for 2). It is a beaut and I love how functional this baby is, but jury is out on how long it will last based on the seat back construction.
I just want to say that I have so far had the best experience with this couch. First of all, the price is so affordable. We have kids, and our last set of furniture cost about $3K so we had been limping along with our old gross set for 16 years because we thought we couldn't afford nice furniture again. Thank goodness I found these. The price is great. I would be living with my overstuffed painted leather sofas if we hadn't found this. The draws for me were the fact that it's modular and my greatroom is weird. I basically have a tv/fireplace focal point with a door to the garage, sliding glass door on the other side, and then I have a counter/bar area that leaves little room for the TV area. It's a very narrow space, and with overstuffed furniture it felt like the energy in that room was blocked for years. I could not go in that area without feeling crabby. Why I waited so long to address this? I didn't want to spend $3K again. Anyway, I know this sounds crazy, but once we got rid of the old sofas and put this one is, the energy and flow just feel tons and tons better. We have room to walk, and the fact that we aren't stuck with our current configuration just feels so freeing. It is a lower profile than my old sofas, and I like that it's extra long. I am so thankful that we are now in the modular furniture age, and don't have to live with the old crappy stuff anymore! Why haven't furniture companies been doing this forever?!?
READ FIRST. Having assembled furniture before by myself though it would be OK.... BER prepared to hire someone to move and assemble.. VERY heavy.. beautiful but HEAVY. will cost me an extra $300 or so when all is said and done
Excellent customer service. They were extremely helpful and diligent about making sure we got take care of. They quickly sent us a replacement ottoman. -[Weve only had this sofa for a couple of weeks and the seams in the cushions are already splitting.] sofa looks fantastic in our TV lounge.
This couch is awesome for the price. It was easy to put together and the color is so pretty.
It did take some time for the cushions to air out and become a bit more soft.
We got the ottoman to go along with it and are so happy we did. Two people can lay out on it between the couch and ottoman. We will even use it as a guest bed.
I really liked the color and versatility of this couch. The biggest downside was the comfort and the thread-pulling of the material. For the price, I imagined it would be super comfy and durable. It is not. Its more of a guest couch for those with no pets. Like an artsy, accent storage piece in a game room where no one sits down, and there are no kids or pets, and you can just glance at it in passing.
First off, this is not a bad couch, it's reasonably comfortable, incredibly easy to assemble, looks very nice, and with the ottomans, it's a decent size.
I have two main issues with this couch, it's way too expensive for the value of the material, (it feels cheaper than the price would indicate), and it looks so much bigger in the picture. My wife is 5 feet tall, I am 5 feet 8, and we are struggling to fit on it without the ottomans. With the ottomans, it's not bad, but I only received 2 of the 3 ottomans I paid for, and the space where there isn't an ottoman is entirely too shallow. My 5 foot tall wife can barley cross her legs without going over the edge, and I can't at all. I have to basically sit sideways to even fit on the couch.
Long story short, I realize it gives the dimensions in the description, but once it's in place, it hits you how tiny the couch is. And the price is just way too high, I'm sorry, but this is a $700 couch, not a $1000 couch.
