Shipping box was damaged and had holds large enough to stick fingers through and feel ththe couch, however they were smart enough to cover the couch with a felt cloth to prevent damage.
The couch was arrived undamaged, but I found one stain in an unoticable corner that had some discoloring. I think it will come out with a good scrub.
The corner feet require you to position yourself according to guide markers on the feet. You have to drill your own holes for this part by driving the woodscrew with a screwdriver. Focus on aligning the feet to the corners of the couch instead of perfectly aligning withthe guides to avoid screwing into staples.
Putting on the feet were the hardest/riskyist part. Try putting the couch on its back to put on the left arm for some reason the hooks are reversed on that side.
Overall, its a well engineered and sturdy couch with good material I believe will last 5 years at least.
You want the couch to be firm because it can only get softer. Couches never get firmer. Dont know why so many people complain about that You want it firm so it holds its shape.
Overall the couch is very cute and good for small spaces. I needed something for our temporary small space in our apartment. This was the perfect size. At first trying to assemble the couch without reading directions was a little tricky so we ended up reading them which made the process a lot faster and a lot easier if we had just started there first. If youre looking for comfort, This is not your couch. I spend little time on the couch so for me, a dorm size couch that isnt necessarily comfy works. This does give off more of a navy hue more so than dark grey but I really do like it and think it goes well with a variety of things like the taupe and grey accent pillows paired in the picture. Overall I would buy it again based on its size, and overall durability for the price.
This couch came in three boxes, and I assembled it on my own without directions pretty easily (it had directions, I just didnt see them till I was done).
I needed a secondary sleeping space for my office and this fits the Bill! I have a couch to watch tv on, and a space to put visitors rolling through for a night or two.
The couch is a bit stiff, but that is preferred over too soft. Im sure it will break in with some use.
We ordered this couch for our grandsons smaller room. He uses it as a couch to play his video games, and then he easily makes into a bed. He is 13 and feels grown/up having this couch in his room. Its sturdy and looks great.

My son and I set this up 2 days ago for it to become my bed in a tiny space. Was hoping I would be pleased enough to make this my permanent bed when I move into my in/law quarters in the next couple years. EVERYTHING I was hoping for it is and so much more. I couldnt be more pleased with the purchase than what I am. It works perfectly for the storage I needed along with the ability to perfectly fit into a bedroom half the size that I had. I absolutely love this sofa/bed. Its been 18 months since Ive slept as good and pain free as what I have the last 2 nights. I will highly recommend this.
It took about 1/2 hours (working slowly) to assemble. It came via FedEx and the driver even carried it inside the door. Everything arrived in good shape. The directions were easy to follow and all of the hardware was bagged up.
The couch is very firm which is why I gave it 4 stars for comfort. Its a really nice piece of furniture.

Very comfortable, quick easy assembly, great for our family room. We have 4 teens and its sturdy definitely holds up to their constant plopping on the couch. It is more of a blue/ish grey color but still looks good.

Perfect starter couch! I put it in my first apartment and LOVE IT! Could be more comfortable, but who cares? Its cheap I love it!
