Everything was put together fairly simply, my only problem was the way it was shipped was like the sender didnt care about the package. Things were halfway hanging out the box when it was delivered. The plastic padding inside was torn apart and just roughly thrown inside. The wood was banged up and looked like it was used before. But other then the bunk bed looking like it was a return I would have to say it was easy to put together. Would suggest getting a Bunkie Board with it for the top bunk.
Good overall for the price. A few holes needed some surgery to work, but assembled by 2 people in little over 3 hours. Heavy as a Suburban filled with cement though.
This bunk bed looks great! We love the black wood. It can later turn into 2 separate beds, so I believe that alone makes it a great return on investment. Assembled in about 3 hours.
I will start by saying, once built, it looks really good. I had a couple of issues with some things. The packing is horrible. When it was delivered they just left it on my stairs. All the pieces are jumbled together which is probably the reason why I had so many pieces that was damaged. My kids loves their new bunkbed though. I paid for someone to set the bunk bed up and he did an aming job. I will be contacting about this today. I hope they are able to give me a discount because of all the imperfections.
I love the color and sturdiness of the bed. My kids fit comfortably in it. The full bed fits nicely but the mattress does have about a 2.5 wiggle room area to move around. I wish the outside rail piece for the top bunk that is over the full mattress was in the interior of the frame rather than the outside. I have hit my head a few times in the dark when placing my child in bed. Overall great value!
