Looks great, easy to assemble just dont get frustrated and read the instructions. You need a drill to attach the two wood boards on the back side. You can substitute the screws in the back for nails and you a hammer. We use the top for extra storage (lunch bags, backpacks, purses, etc..)
My 11-year-old twins built this completely on their own without any input. And it seemed to come out okay. It seems sturdy and it held a lot more shoes than I anticipated. there were two leftover dowels but that could be because they forgot to do something, and a few extra screws. We bought this because the dimensions fit right behind the front door and I'm very pleased with it.
The package arrived quickly. Instructions were clear and it took about an hour to put 2 of these together. My husband is a size 11 shoe and his sneakers and dress shoes fit just fine. I'm a size 7.5 and I can fit 2 pairs of sneakers in each cubbie with ease. I ordered 2 of them to put side by side in my long hallway, but we ended up stacking them on top of each other and they look great also.

I bought this to sit at the entrance to my apartment. My children and I struggle to take our shoes off when we come in because we have keys and backpacks in our hands and we try to stay on the runner. This is perfect because all 3 of us can sit on this and we can store our shoes underneath. It even has a shelf adjustment to make room for boots!
I will say, through shipping a panel did come cracked. We were able to hide and it wasnt a crucial piece. I do wish it was a little wider for a more comfy sit, but overall satisfied w this product. Easy/ straight forward assembly.

The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it needed an electric drill to assemble and also would have been nice to include two extra G boards for the side columns so the user could have more options to customize. E.g. Less boards for winter boots, or more boards for summer flip flops. Other than that, I'm very happy with it. My family and I love the color and how nicely it fits into the house.
