Pretty easy to assemble and very sturdy. No issues with people sitting on it. I cut up waterproof cabinet liners and placed them inside the cubbies too, easier clean up later.
Perfect on my desk area countertop to remove clutter. At 82 I can't bend so a friend assembled it for me. All parts were there and easily identified. It took about an hour. I had measured the clearance from web site info and it was accurate. I did not need the grey fabric cushion but it was nice quality. I'm sue there are other creative uses for this product.
This looks really good and feels super solid to sit on (I weight around 190). Assembly is really easy. The cubbies are decent depth for my size 11 shoes.
