Worth the money, does its job

I love this bench. I have 4 kids plus a husband- the center cubbies are perfect for keeping our winter items separate and then the sides are great for the kids shoes. I found this incredibly easy to assemble and did it myself without issue. The pad on the bench isnt the best but does the job, serves as more of a landing space for our junk when we walk in the door. I will say the clearance between the top and bottom shelves on the two ends are different, which was a small problem for my baskets. I remedied that with a bit of DIY, I just scooped the notches on the shelves out a bit to provide some extra clearance for the top space, worked like a charm. This is sturdy and does the job, and has held up to the beating my family of 6 has given it. I recommend, and will rebuy if this guy ever gives out.

    Solid particle board/pre-pack furniture

Weve had this several weeks now, in our entryway. This is not fine furniture that you hand down for generations. Im reviewing it as what it is - a less expensive piece made of laminate and particle board, that youll probably give away the next time you move. In that category, its everything we need it to be. A seat cushion just soft enough, just deep enough, and the right height to sit on when putting your shoes on. Cubbies just big enough to hold my husbands clodhopper sneakers, with the taller cubbies great for hiking boots. The width and depth fit our entry area, and it kind of blends in nicely, so eyes mostly pass over it. Sturdiness: two adults are sitting on it and pulling shoes in and out daily, with no problems. Note: i did use wood glue during assembly, on the pegs and along seams, to add strength (something i always recommend)

    Exactly as described..

Exactly as described. Husband had no issues assembling it. Looks great in our house with our decor and cleans up the clutter of shoes laying everywhere.

    Assembly

Overall it was straight forward with assembly. The challenging parts were that: 1) Not all the pieces were clearly labeled as some of the stickers had come off 2) Not all the pre-drilled holes aligned (there was at least one that was really hard to screw into place 3) For the backing, there were no pre-drilled holes, and attempting to screw in the tiny screws without any guidance - well that just plain didn't work. I abandoned putting a back on it. Either please pre-drill holes or use nails instead of the screws. As for the sturdiness, it's a little shaky, but is doing it's job well.

Use this as my door entry for my child who leaves his shoes all over the house . He now organize them in the entrance and devoted it with pillow on top

    Love It!

I love this bench. It looks great and was pretty easy to assemble, I did it by myself. It has plenty of storage and the spaces are large enough for mens shoes and you can double up flip flops for even more storage! The cushion is pretty and exactly the right color gray. I highly recommend this bench!!

I love love this. It looks good in our sun room. I use this to put our shoes and it hides it well.
