I would recommend buying. Its sturdy (I am 300 lbs and my woman about 150), and it works well for all ins and purposes, we are athletic. Now, if you live with other people, or in an apartment with thin walls, your bed will be announcing every time you your partner are doing a bed workout. Aside from that, its a great height for tiny dogs to just walk into their new protected habitat.
This unit was easy to assemble? But the headboard is not very heavy and made of particle board. The side rails were easy to assemble. It came with only 3 wood slats to which is definitely not enough to a heavy mattress and box spring. I would recommend using a bunky board or box with a solid bottom for more .
This bed frame is everything I thought it would be . Its so nice easy to assemble. Even my mom loved it she wont get out of it . I bought a bunkie board to go with it perfect fit . Love love love no damages

excellent for under the bed storage
great bed with all these new types of foam mattresses, i.e. Nectar, Purple, Casper etc. the length is xl to accommodate tall people.
