These chairs are a great bargain. However, the wood isn't really woodit's some sort of wood like plastic and the color shown is not what you will get. I purchased these thinkin that the color would match the base of my table (which is a lighter shade of wood). The wood-ish area is painted light ash grey These will due for now. But I would not purchase again.
