I was pleasantly surprised with this bed. The only thing is that the drawers are not connected to the bed so they dont always line up when you close them.
First thing first the drawers came in first then 2 days later the frame itself came in. I assembled the drawers first and it was super simple. Instructions were not hard to follow. You do have to pay attention on the positioning of the holes when placing the bracket on the head boards. Other than that an Allen key was the only tool for the job and they give you 2. The cross planks are thin but Ive had it for a day so I cant speak on longevity. Overall I recommend it .
The reviews were correct that it takes about 3 hours to assemble. The pieces were well-labeled for easy step-by-step assembly. I was really excited about the drawers, but the fastener is a pain - if youre only going to need to open them a few times/year then it will be fine for you. I was hoping to use them as a second dresser type of thing, so we have to leave the drawers floating without the fastener for ease of use. Our mattress apparently isnt a perfect rectangle - so the corners of the bed itself (can see floor down through) are visible when the comforter isnt covering them.
Bed is a little shorter than I would like.. not so much the bed actually, but the headboard doesnt go up as high. We still love it for its MASSIVE drawers though
It was a little involved and time consuming to assemble. The drawers seem a little flimsy probably because very light. Proof is if they hold up; we'll see. Other than that, it looks good and functions well. I put 10 gel mattress on it and seems ok.
Wish the headboard was more adjustable. The drawers are a little tough to get in and out but have great storage space. The instructions to put it together are basically pictures with no words so it does take a while to put together but its a great bad for the price you pay.
We took a long time to find a queen size bed that offered a beautiful and modern design plus well-organised storage spaces. When we saw this one there was no opinion about enough, ao it was a sort of bid. Fortunately we were lucky with that! It's really a beautiful piece for our bedroom. The structure is sturdy and we can feel it firm. The height is ok, and its drawers are excellent for storaging linen and other stuff we have. Please note that average time of assembly of 3 hrs already comprises the time for assembling mistakes . Bear in mind that you must keep the lateral columns with the holes in form of an eight outwards (those holes are used to keep the drawers closed, and if you do the same mistake I did, you'll take around one hour to fix it). Another tip: purchase a 12 inch mattress. 10 inch will result in a low bed, unless you like it.
