Directions are step by step. I ordered two of these and have them at either end of my couches in the living room. They look expensive and with the outlet/USB ports are extremely user friendly.
This is by far one of my best purchases. I use this little table as a night stand. The flip top lid makes it easy to tuck remotes and such away to make for a clean and tidy space. The USB connectors make night time charging of my phone and fitbit easy peasey. The over all look is of the piece is modern and rustic and appeal to the eye. It looks very high end and doesnt break the bank. This is a great piece!
So, I bought 2 of these because I was looking for something to go on the sides of my bed for storage/somewhere to put my stuff. I love them because they dont take up much space, but have plenty of room to put stuff, PLUS outlets and USB ports. They really are quite nice. I put them together myself, and it took about an hour and 45 minutes to do them both. It might have taken a little less time, but I accidentally had a board backwards (pay attention to where the tiny holes are in the pictures), and had to unscrew a few things to switch it. Overall, would definitely buy again.

Started literally peeling away chips of metal trying to screw them in. Spent 30 mins and 5 for high quality screws from a local store and got them together after that. Love the hidden power cord feature. Really happy with these.

GREAT BARGAIN WITH LOTS OF BONUS
Needed something with a narrower profile, freed up much needed space and look great. Love the shelves and bonus storage and built in charging station.
