This bed is an excellent value. Im pretty handy so I would say it was fairly easy to put together but took around 2hours total assembly (i think unpacking every individual piece took up a lot of time too). The hydraulic function works perfectly and the bed feels . Storage space is great and we fit a ton of stuff underneath.
I purchased this bed a couple of months ago and am very happy with it. The packaging was excellent and the parts came clearly marked for assembly, with the directions being easy to follow. It is easier to have two people put it together. I am an older woman and while the lift is heavy it is not impossible to do.
When you first get this and see all the parts, it is a little intimidating. However, the instructions are easy and the assembly is not as bad as you might originally think. The actual product, once you get it built, is quite good. It seems and there are no weird creaking noises and such / nice and quiet. Also, the lift mechanism is fantastic and the gas struts are super strong so they will do all the heavy lifting for you. Im happy with it.
I would give 4 1/2 stars if possible. Ive had it put together for about a week, and so far I am impressed. I got the full sized grey style. I am recently single woman moved out on her own//and I put this whole thing together by myself. It DEFINITELY would benefit having someone help you. It took me about 4 hours//and some acrobatic moves to get it completely together.
So far, I havent noticed any creaking, shifts, or movement from the frame or base boards beneath. It pulls up pretty easy, and you do have to use a little force to get it down//but nothing too hard.
All pieces came, and nothing was damaged. The Grey style is more on the warm tone side of the color scheme (not brown but could be in the realm).
The full size it perfect for my use. I live in a 350 ft studio, so space saving and storage is TOP priority for a happy home this small. Id definitely recommend this product.
I only give 4 to 4 1/2 star due Im unaware of its long term wear and capability//and that it is pretty difficult to build on your own//and some of us dont have the luxury of someone to help.

Yesit is in the back, but still, I purchased a brand new item, not a used one. 2/ I did read the reviews on the grey not being quite grey, but the fact is , it doesnt even have a hint of grey. It is kinda taupe/light brownish , no grey at all. And I am not color blind. Had the bed had even a hint of grey, as it is the advertised color, I would have given it a 5 stars (even with the tears on the back on the headboard ). I would have loved a true gray as it would have fit my bedroom color scheme much better. I am not keen on the color, only a matter of taste, nothing wrong with the color itself. If the maker/seller happens to read this feedback, please make more colors ! Black pleather or taupish brown are not enough choices.
That said, this bed is comfortable, good support, lots of storage, easy to pull up and down.
I also wish the headboard were a couple of inches higher. With a thick mattress and pillows, it all comes up pretty high and not enough of the headboard shows. Minor issue, something that could be improved on.
I live in a small apartment with an even smaller bed room. Storage is, as you can imagine, a necessity if you hope to have anything in your house at all. While it was a pain to put together (it took almost three hours and two people), this bed has been delightful. It not only has storage under the mattress (the part that lifts up) but for smaller, thinner things, you can store them under the whole bed. I have a thin art portfolio that is generally a bear to try and store and it fits just neatly under the whole bed while thicker things, like my canvass, fit inside. It lifts and goes down quite easily (which, for someone with joint problems, is saying a lot) and the whole thing seems rather ly built, especially for the price.
This bed is great!! I gotta say that assembly is not hard to do but there is a lot of bolts and nuts i am pretty saavy assembling furniture but this bed took me about 3hrs to complete. Be aware of the gas struts as they go one way only in the assembly and make sure they are on the right position before screwing the lock nuts which they are hard to remove once they are in. There was a review here about been to hard to fold the bed once you have open the storage comparment and that person is correct, the pressure on the gas struts seems to make it hard to fold, i am not saying is a bad thing to me is OK but it may be hard for some to apply a bit of extra muscle every time you push down the bed back in place. Mounting the mattress holder to the gas strut assembly was hard, you need an 2 person to asemble that part. I try by myself and i place a bolt to keep it in place but the weight bent the bolt and broke it and BTW there is NO spare parts.

Okay the price was right for this bed.
Storage is spacious and works as described.
The texture of the bed was good.
It looks and good quality with minor details.
It looks nice after assembly and the edges are soft.
Cons:
The gas strut bolt mount TURNS while fastening and removing nut (There is NO counter hold.)
There is NO spare parts.
Important Note To Seller: The gas struts bolts mounts turn at the same time you are fastening the nut into the bolt and the bolt mount does not have a counter hold to grip while fastening therefore making it extremely hard to fasten and remove the nuts. It extendend my assembly time 45min since i first mount the gas struts the wrong position and the nuts were not coming off as i hace to use pliers to hold the mount to counter my wrench to remove the nut.
