This bed frame looks fantastic. The gray color is gorgeous. The frame is sturdy, gives a ton of support with multi-slat design, and the large drawers are incredibly spacious and roll smoothly and with ease. We can fit all of our folding clothes, plus a ton more, into these drawers. They are so large. It's wonderful, and they will lock closed as well if you need them to but we never need to utilize that function. It's easy to use, though, if you require it. A couple minor issues: The bottoms of the drawers a simple sheet of thin plastic. Not the sturdiest, but you definitely couldn't put anything too weighty in these drawers without sagging or possibly even puncture issues. The bottom for one of our drawers was actually broken when the package arrived, though I suspect that was likely due to shipping. The shipping box was torn to hell with large, heavy packages. But we taped it up from the bottom, and it was good to go. No big deal. Also, the back of the headboard is just a thin, felt-like, papery sheet that velcros into place and honestly is not really large enough to fit properly to the back of the frame, though it manages to just make it. It's quite a stretch, though. But that doesn't really bother us as our headboard is up against a wall. Overall, very satisfied with this product!
Love this bed! I was able to assemble on my own. Very easy. Everything was labeled and instructions were very simple and easy to understand. They recommend 2 people for assembly, but one can do it no problem. I used the bed slats while they were still packaged to hold up the head board and side rail when attaching the feet to the frame. That was the only part that you would really need a second person for, and like I said, I did the whole assembly on my own no problem. The material is really nice and so far seems to be a high quality bed.
Great bed, great value. Bought Full size for my very picky and stylish college daughter. Also bought the Tuft and Needle mattress. The pair are fantastic and she couldn't be more pleased. I would gladly purchase this again and highly recommend it.
Caveat, I have put together about 50 of these self-assembly furniture pieces, so I would not consider myself a novice.
Shipping was fine. Its a 10 inch thick box that weighs 98 lbs, so keep that in mind for logistics. I ended up unpacking everything and then loading into my car for easier transportation prior to setup. This way two independent people could carry it to the upstairs room rather than needing two very strong people at the same time to do so.
Assembly was a breeze. We finished in about 45 mins. I used a power drill with a 4mm bit clutched to 5. Thank you vendor for using single size bolts (4mm)! I highly recommend using a power drill with clutch to save a ton of time. Or at least buy a screw driver with replaceable bits so you can use a 4mm insert and not the mini one they provide. It will work, but you will have very sore wrists at the end of the day. None of the bolts stripped, nor did any of the nut seats come loose. All holes were perfectly aligned and I didn't have to modify any pieces. Only had to hand-tighten 4 bolts due to not bringing my right angle bit driver. Hardware was clearly marked, and had all the parts for assembly.
However, the last picture indicated that there were 4 slip-on feet, but they were not in the box nor in the parts list. They didn't seem all that necessary, and not critical enough for me to call about it. Vendor might want to clarify this in future directions. Additionally, all parts except for the screws were clearly marked for assembly. However to verify the screws in each step, I had to verify the screw letter on the step page, and then go back to the beginning parts list to cross reference the screw ID to the screw size. Vendor might want to just add more descriptions on each page for exactly which screws to use so the cross-reference isn't needed. I also suggest a single picture in the beginning before starting assembly that shows in detail where every screw goes. But at the end of the day, the assembly was pretty obvious.
I want to comment on previous mentions of the T-Bar issues not holding their weight and bending out. I inspected mine and they were the same and certainly sturdy enough all but the largest behemoths. However, they were designed to take vertical weight, not horizontal shear stress which clearly shows in the detractors' associated photos. I believe this was due to the bed being dragged rather than lifted when moved. Its not heavy at the foot once assembled, even with the mattress and bedding, and can be easily swiveled at the foot as long as its lifted first. However if it is pushed, especially on rug, I can see how the the feet would catch on the rug and run into shearing problems. Same issue for the legs, which were very sturdily bolted onto the frame. I thought it was nice that they installed the feet in a way that I could easily replace the legs with others without any issues. Regardless, lift before you move and you won't have any issues.
Lots of pieces, took 3.5 hours to put together but looks great! Only observation is many visible loose/hanging threads from the gray fabric on the headboard and side pieces
Bed arrived packaged well with no damage or missing parts. It took approximately 3 hours to assemble, but I thought that the directions were very well written in short steps that didn't seem so overwhelming. I felt the bed was as sturdy as my old frame. For the price, I was very pleased with the purchase!
The Upholstered Platform Bed came well packaged. The directions were (mostly) easy to follow - with one caveat. At Step 5, it advises you not to tighten the screws in that step until you finish Step 9. However, the instructions should have advised you that you ought not to tighten the screws BETWEEN Step 5 and Step 9. The screws and holes were machined well so that finding holes and tightening screws was easy. Assembly actually did not require ANY tools other than what came shipped. However, you will find assembly much faster if you use your own hex screw driver. The under the bed storage drawers are not overly sturdy, so be sure to place lighter items in there (clothes, sheets, etc).

Worked out well for my guest bedroom. Took like 2.5 hours to assemble myself - it wasn't complicated, it was just extensive.
