Took a little longer than expected to assemble with 2 people, but still quite easy to put together. Great instructions and came very well packed. Seems sturdy after the first month of use and fits plenty in the storage area. Very happy with this purchase!
I like the extra storage and I needed a platform frame for my mattress. This filled both my needs. Had some shipping issues and I contacted company and they resolved the issues. They have a great customer service team.
I like this bed overall, it has a nice look and it is easy to lift up the mattress with the hydraulics. Upon opening the box I immediately noticed a very large hole on the back of the headboard. I am always disappointed by companies who choose to send out damaged product for the full price rather then sending out a product of true good quality. I had my father who is an engineer come over to help me with the assembly and even he struggled with the odd design so be prepared for a headache. Once we managed to get it together it has a nice look and so far has been sturdy. The storage space is slightly less deep then I thought it would be but it still offers a lot of space.
Whoever designed the assembly instructions deserves a raise! They packaged all the components so neatly and intuitively and the written instructions were outstanding. I assembled this with my boyfriend at a casual pace in about 2 hrs. I think I could have done it solo with some creative thinking around how to hold stuff up while screwing together. The look is excellent and the storage underneath is outstanding. SUCH a good value!
We assembled it over a couple days to give ourselves some time. We made a mistake in the beginning by putting the sides in wrong position. So reversing that cost us time halfway through.
Putting in the lift bracket was tricky, needing an extra pair of hands. Having a socket wrench with an
Allen bit did help overall and to tighten fittings.
The two boxes delivered were well packed and all the parts clearly labeled. The frame is well built and sturdy. The storage capacity seems good.
It is easy to lift with the hydraulics. A little hard to
push it back down. We plan to put some lightweight bulky items in the storage and free up closet space.
It is a extremely well made product and well packaged. Definitely a 4 hour one person job but the instructions were awesome! I would buy this again and again!
