I was skeptical due to the weight limit being 400 when most beds have half that. The bed is perfect and really gives plenty of storage. It’s best near the wall or with stablizers installed to keep the bed from rocking too much. The extra storage shelves are great for holding anything you can think of.
We used this with a crib underneath first, and have graduated to a big bed. It fits a queen mattress underneath perfectly! Our boys absolutely love it. It looks great and is so far very sturdy. Highly recommend!
We got this bed for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas and it was perfect! She absolutely loves it. Great wood quality, easy instructions to follow, and very sturdy. We have searched around for multiple loft beds and came across this one and loved the look and the option to add a desk. The price was also great. Our daughter is happy so we are very happy with this purchase.
My 9-year-old son is in LOVE with his new bed. He wanted to downsize to have more space, and a cool bunk with a desk to game/watch TV.
The color is rich, finish is smooth, and wood is pretty solid. The only thing Ive noticed is that it wobbles a lit bit. We tightened the bolts, but it only made a slight difference. Other than that, it was a great buy!
Lastly, shipping was fast and arrived in two parts and on two separate days.
Overall we are pretty satisfied with this bed for our 8 year old. We previously had a twin over full bunk bed with stairs that was incredible sturdy so this one is a bit more wobbly. The ladder steps are definitely only for children-some steps are only held with pegs and not screws as well. The hardest part was the instructions. The majority of the hardware is not labeled so it took extra time figuring everything out. Myself and my boyfriend built this in less than 2 hours. I didn’t care for the desk option on this piece so I purchased a different desk to fit under there. The shelves hold all of her scrap booking supplies and a few toys nicely. The shelves are very sturdy.
The instructions were pretty clear. I managed to assemble it in about 4 hours with my 10 year old helping. Just go ahead and add an electric screwdriver or drill with hex bit to your cart now if you don’t already have one - assembly with just the included Allen wrench would have been a nightmare. It is a nice looking bed and seems sturdy. The desk is a nice size - bigger than I expected - about 1/2 the width of the bed.
My daughter loves it!! But has a mother its not has sturdy as I would have hoped being wood! Thats why I didn’t go for a metal bed. But she’s happy so Im happy
This is a great bed for a preteen/teen. The thickness of the boards provide great stability. Directions are very well written and easy to understand making it easy to assemble.
