Seems to be good quality after initial assembly

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didnt have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness.

    Playroom fun

I think this is a great product for little kids. My son who was only 18 months is a climber so we felt this would please him. We uses it in his playroom and not for sleeping. It would not be safe for a child under 4 yrs old to sleep on yet. The ladder slide can easily come off to prevent little ones from climbing and filling off. It does not come with a mattress so you will need to get that separate. Assembly is not difficult if you are able to follow direction and like to build things. If you are not handy it could be a challenge. Overall, great product that will get used for several years to come. My son loves it!!

    Worth it!

We bought these bunkbeds for our two boys, 4 and 9. The quality of the materials is awesome considering the price. I gave four stars for sturdiness simply because in my own, non/professional opinion,I feel like the beds arent super heavy. It would be best to fix eight these bunkbeds into the corner of a room and perhaps attaching a bracket to the bed and wall for more . Just my opinion though. I assembled this bed by myself in roughly an hour and a half. The directions were very easy to understand, even for someone who rarely assembles furniture. As I stated earlier, weve all these bunkbeds for our young boys who are very rough and rambunctious. I couldnt see spending 800 or 900 on a set of bunkbeds from local retailers. They will likely outgrow them in a couple of years anyway. I am definitely very satisfied with the price of this furniture!

The pre/tapped holes are impossible to self tap by hand

Having to manually drill out every single self/tapping screw location with a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw just to have a shot at installing this bed was the most time/consuming, wood dust/producing, and disappointing experience Ive ever had. Make sure to have a Drill on hand, as I only had an impact driver, which would completely destroy the top of the screws. The boards that the mattress were half bowed, and the amount of room you have to screw the boards in makes it incredibly frustrating. But after hours and hours of tedious work, the bed frame is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, and it allows for plenty of under/the/bed storage. I am 61 so I dont use the latter, I just jump in, which allows me to have 3 dresser drawers along the long side of the bed. Overall I would say get this bed if it fits your needs and you are looking for a cheaper alternative to some other loft beds. But keep a drill on hand, and dont attempt to use an impact driver to screw anything in.

    Excellent bed frame very sturdy!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my very active 3 year old grandson and he absolutely adores it. It definitely takes some time and work to put together but is well worth it very sturdy and a wonderful addition to any young Childs room. So glad we got it for him well worth the price.

    Super cute bunkbed

Bought these bunk beds for my 5 and 2 year old so that we could transition the 2 year into his brothers room. I didnt want the 2 year to have the issue of falling off the bed so these were PERFECT! Put them up tonight and I love them. The only con? It takes a really long time to assemble and there are literally like 100 screws /

Awesome low loft bed, we are very glad we waited for it to be available again.

Easy to assemble; all pieces were marked and they all fall in place very nicely. The beautiful bed seems to be safe, feels sturdy enough for my son to sleep in it and he couldnt be happier.

    Very easy to assemble

Its super adorable. My highly attached to me toddler loves it and slept in it alone the first night. Very easy to assemble. My only disappointment is that there is a crack in the wood on one piece / it really bothered me but I was not about to pack it up again and return. So it seems to be holding up well anyway. For the price, its worth it and I love that its not low to the ground. I dont like my kids to be close to the floor. Love it though.
