This bunk bed is well constructed and was really easy to put together. Much easier and faster than some previous reviews have mentioned (it took my wife and I about an hour).. Everything from the hardware baggies to each piece of wood was well labeled to make assembly as easy as possible. We ordered the Solid Wood Twin over Full Bunk Bed, Natural the finish on this bunk bed reflects quality workmanship and attention to detail. I like the nice touches like felt on the backside of the ladder hardware to prevent rubbing, the beveled edges on wood, the added ridges on the ladder steps and the recessed hardware. The bed also allows for the addition of a trundle, which we wished we had ordered if we had the additional resources. The instructions are only illustration, but its pretty obvious if you have a good co-worker with you (thanks to my wife). This bunkbed does allow for the top bunk to be located on either side of the bottom bunk, this allows for greater options if we need to relocate this bed in the future. We wouldnt hesitate to buy this bunk bed again, as we procrastinated for too long. The 14 in. guardrails on the top bunk also provides increased safety and a parents peace of mind that they wont accidentally roll out!
Again, I just want to emphasize how grateful I am that and have taken the time to engineer solid constructed furniture made to last. Its very refreshing to see real wood ready-to-assemble furniture focused on high-quality, modern design and affordability.
Adorable bed for our 4 year old. The color is perfect, came in perfect condition, easy to put together and VERY sturdy. You cant beat the price quality combo.
Simple to put together. I put it together, by myself, in under two hours. That included putting on a mattress and making the bed. Seems sturdy. I purchased this for a guest room. The only thing I would have liked is written instructions to go along with the pictures. I had to re-adjust things a couple times because instructions werent totally clear.
Overall the bed is pretty good. Its well designed and easy to relatively assemble, few things to be aware of:
- The slats are too far apart, like 6-7, which is not good for many mattresses as they will eventually sag. Do yourself a favor, goto Home Depot and buy 2 39x74 sheets of euroboard or similar to properly support the mattress. Put it on top of the slats.
- The wood is kind of soft, its pine. Scraping off one of the labels with a fingernail left small dents, so be careful with it.
- Says its 400lb per bed, and its possible, but it does not look that strong to me, so not for adults.
I purchased bed for a grand daughter that visits occasionally and also as an extra bed for overnight company. We used it over Thanksgiving and my 275 pound son slept good. It is sturdy enough for an adult. Of course, its twin length but not a problem for random nights. And its very pretty, white, and easy to assemble
Nice looking real wood, however, one wood piece was dented and scarred. All the pieces and bolts were there. One big problem, the top guard rail is not secure!! This can be fixed with an extra bolt or two but watch out for it! I would buy it again.

Happy Grandchild!
Bunkbeds are made well and can hold the weight listed! My grandbabies love their bunkbeds and play and spend down time in them. Good purchase!
