Looks great but is so uncomfortable if you intend to lay it flat to lay on it at all. Not bad to just sit on but between it being almost rock hard and the seams being very pronounced you will not want to lay on it.
My living space I rather small and compact and my old bed was taking up too much space (I had a queen). This futon took a while to save up for, but I made the leap to give it a try. First thing I noticed taking it out of the box was how compact it is. All the parts are stored inside of the futon with these small flaps under the futon which makes packaging really small. Putting the futon together took only about 30 minutes. And having put one of these together beforehand, that is really nice! As a bed folded out, its not the most comfortable, I must admit. Youre gonna feel the center of the fold of the bed if you try to lay on it bare. But I got one of those full sized foam mattress toppers and it made it incredibly comfortable to lay in and can still fold up! And as a couch its not bad either! Absolute win!
After 3weeks with no furniture, I needed something that would be delivered in less than a week for my living room. I decided on this futon. I got it in 3 days, whereas if I had ordered an actual couch from a furniture store I could be looking at delivery dates well into September. After reading the reviews, and knowing I eventually will want something to replace it by the fall, I knew this was only going to be a temporary solution. I dont have pets and Im 169lbs, and laying on this futon beats having only chairs in the living room to relax on.
So about the futon - to me it looks more light blue than light gray but Im fine with that. I moved and assembled the thing all by myself, it is too heavy to lift when it arrives, but I was able to push the box from the lobby to my unit. Very easy to assemble and all necessary tools come with. The directions indicate to slide the arms on first, but I found it easier to do that last after the legs were screwed in and the futon upright.
Weight limit on here says 550lbs but the info pamphlet that comes with says 500lbs. Also, Im 54 and when I lay down I have only a few inches of room from my feet to the arm rest, so anyone taller might find laying between the armrests challenging without removing them.
This will suit me just fine for the next couple months.
Without going into excruciating, unnecessary details, across the board this product is pretty decent with the one major exception of size. Mainly, the part where you sit, not the backrest. Its a bit shallow. Its tough to slouch very comfortably, and it feels a bit like youre sitting on the edge all the time. Setup was easy, and its certainly not a bad product, but after just 6 months, where I may sit in it for a few hours a day, its already lost quite a lot of tension in the springs. It sags quite heavily these days, and the fabric is quite loose due to this as well. The cons of this product lead to a 2 star. The price, general quality, and overall value place it close to a 4 or 5, so a 3 star feels quite perfect here. Definitely something temporary to have for a year or so, then throw away.
Not the most comfortable, and is pretty short. But it was super easy to set up (you just screw on the legs) and works for the few extra seats we needed. The back is easy to lay back.

Stylish but NOT for comfort

Super Easy to assemble!

Perfect office couch!
Perfect office couch! Assembled in 10 minutes.
Not comfortable to sleep on
Theres like a hunch on the base, it makes it uncomfortable to sleep on. Its smaller than it looks - Im 511 and I do not fit on it
Great little sofa
Perfect for a teen hangout room. Easy to use and great size.
Fine for my light-use and temporary purpose.

Not bad for a cheap couch
