We bought this couch because we needed something that could be slept on comfortably. When its flat, its quite comfortable (at least to lay on, I cant vouch for a full nights sleep). When it is in couch form, it is so narrow that its not as comfortable as we would want it to be. Having an ottoman to rest feet on would probably help with how shallow it is. It doesnt feel very sturdy, so I wonder how it would hold up. Granted, its an inexpensive couch, so I guess you get what you pay for. Setup was pretty easy. It looks good. My main issue is that the box the couch was shipped on was damaged on arrival. When we opened the couch, there was this stain on the cushion. Its noticeable, and Im not happy about it. I dont think the tear in the box compromised the integrity of the couch, but its likely what created the stain (youd think they wouldnt pack and ship a stained couch, right?). A stain isnt the end of the world, but Im not happy about it. Im trying to decide if returning the couch is worth the hassle.
I enjoyed the products easy to use and easy to install features such as good instructions and prepackaged screws, however.
It was difficult to make the futon stay in couch form and the pads arent nearly soft enough to be used as a bed.
Overall a great product if you want a small couch to use, be aware that too much weight on the back can break whatever is holding it up and make it permanently into flat mode only, good product for its price

Ok, so my review first off is a genuine review, Im not a robot. This futon is small! I bought it for my son who is 57 and his feet hang off. Im 50 and I fit perfectly, just to give you an idea. It was modertly easy to put together if youre smarter than the futon, and it seems to be pretty darn sturdy! We have it on a hard wood floor and it doesnt move! I would think, and this is just a guess but if youre heavier than about 160lbs, this bed/couch isnt for you. I dont think it would hold for long. Not to mention, the actual butt of the couch seat is thin, and small....big booties need NOT apply. I can safely say that because my booty is as wide as a mack truck, and luckily I didnt buy this for me.
What it would be perfect for: your 7 year old grandson, your nieces who come to stay overnight and you need a corner to thrown them in. Its like a miniature sized real futon if that helps. Comfort couch is ok, comfort of bed is not great according to my son. Little firm with a hard bar in the center.

This is perfect for not everyday sitting since Ive gotten it , it still looks brand new I got it over a year ago. I only use this couch for guest in my living room and sometimes for someone to sleep over besides that its what you pay for. If you want a cheap cute looking couch bed this is perfect not a permanent situation
