The bed was not hard to put together. I did it alone and it took me maybe 2 hours. The best thing was the directions were simple yet detailed and easy to understand. MUCH better than most furniture assembly directions I have used in the past.
The bed seems sturdy and is super cute! My daughter is thrilled.
First, I cant praise this enough for how easy it was to assemble and put together. The instructions were clear and I had no problem understanding it, they even put little highlights to make sure people didnt miss the small things while building. However, that being said I was quite disappointed when I got to the part where I had to put on the stability beam that goes in the middle of the frame and TWO of the screw holes for were misaligned and one of them was only able to be screwed in halfway, while one seemed to be worn down all together, and could not be screwed in no matter how much I tried to adjust it. I know they have a policy where they replace parts for free, but I didnt want to wait the time to get it, only to risk the same problem happening again.
But despite all of that, its still a beautiful bed that seems very stable, so I cant complain too much.
ALSO, the color is much more of a light blush pink that the pink in the photos! I wanted that, and other reviews said as much, so I was pleased, but BE WARNED!!
To get the style of how it looks in the picture youll breed a really thin mattress. Our mattress is 8 and with pillows it completely covers the upholstered back piece
We like the bed a lot. The top bed needs 8 inch mattress and the bottom bed need 6 inch mattress. The trundle doesnt stay lock when you push it all the way in so it doesnt look nice. We ended up getting a wheel lock to keep it in place.

I read all the other reviews. So we laid out all the parts and read the directions first. It took 1 adult with 1 helper (sort of, I really just watched) an hour to put it together. We were prepared to run to Home Depot for slats to reinforce as others had mentioned that concern. But ours is sturdy and beautiful. I got the memory foam mattresses from 8 thick and they work great. Plenty of support for an adult and really comfy. Made a nice sitting area in our basement next to the playroom for the rare occasion when we have a full house. And little granddaughters will love it, Im sure! Great buy.
We have had it a few months and it seems to be holding up well. The assembly wasnt too bad, and its been pretty sturdy. My husband has laid on it a few times and he is over six foot tall and is not skinny. It held up well. It is definitely blue, but is still a fun pop of color.

Perfect for my tiny toddler
It can be set low profile and my very short 2.5 year old has no problem climbing up on the bed and jumping off. So far it seems like a solid choice.
