I was really hesitant to get this because of all the negative reviews. However mine came in great condition! My boyfriend put it together by himself and it took him maybe 3 or 4 hours. Its sturdy and I love how it has 6 drawers, so it holds all my clothes. 5 stars!
We converted a small study to a 3rd room and this full size bed serves great as a sturdy bed with great storage. Assembly is a bit complex and would have gone faster with 2 rather than by myself.
The frame was very easy to put together and designed to be very sturdy. Instructions gave solutions to any troubles that occurred such as the out of roundness of the drawers which was an easy fix.
One of the drawers did come damaged with part of the material and paint chipped off, but nothing structural. It could be packed a little better to prevent pieces from rubbing and scratching.
During our move, my son's bed frame was broken and we had to replace it. We decided we wanted something with drawers for additional storage. When it arrived, I was a little dismayed by how many pieces and parts it was in--I texted my husband Oh God, it's IKEA x 10!--but between the three of us we managed to get it assembled with only a few hiccups. When it was in parts, I was skeptical regarding how it would look since it is particle board. Once it was assembled, my concerns disappeared--it looks fantastic and is a very solid piece of furniture. The drawers have a lot of space, which is very useful. I'd highly recommend this bed.
Very impressed with this platform bed with storage draws. Good sized draws surprisingly. Very sturdy platform bed. Easy assembly. Take it slowly. Strong sturdy.draws, good slides for easy open and closing. Im very satisfied with quality and price. Looks great. Only problem I created was I purchased a 12 mattress. Making bed very high for climbing in and out of bed probably could have been good with a 6 , 8 or 10 mattress. Though it looks good, majestic looking at this height. I really really love this platform bed with 12 draws because of size of the room it would be too closed in or crowded with dressers tall or wide. Can not say enough good things about this platform bed. I love it.
I was a little worrisome when I bought this bed after reading the other reviews talking about how horrible it was, how it was poor quality and how hard it was to put together. I will admit...its not the greatest quality but its also not a super expensive bed. It also IS quite a bit of work to put together but if you have a friend help you...it goes up in no time. I absolutely love this bed. If youre on the edge of getting it...go for it. Youll love it. Forget about the bad reviews.

Took a couple hours to build but it looks great and works fantastic. Holds up my new memory foam mattress effortlessly and I get real good sleep.
