    Great size for small kids!

Perfect for what I needed it for. I have a 2 and a 6 year old. I wanted it close to the ground so if the toddler rolls out of bed it wouldn’t be harmful. Bottom bunk is practically on the floor. You will hit your head and back if you try to hit on it then get up lol perfect for my 6 year old too because he can jump for the top of the ladder and not get hurt. Top bunk doesn’t touch the ceiling. HOWEVER, it took A LONG TIME to build! Very frustrating. Lots of little pieces to put together and not always easy to do. But it is very sturdy.

    Bunkroom success

A few times a year we have MASSIVE gatherings for holidays and decided to convert our unused finished basement into a bunkroom for guests. We quickly figured out that after putting couples into the guest rooms upstairs for privacy we were usually putting single person parties down into the bunkroom and we wanted to upgrade accommodations from air mattresses to beds, and twins were more cost and space efficient than queens so doing bunks just made sense. I ordered two of these, both in black, twin over twin. The boxes were both beat up when they arrived but the pieces inside were 100% untouched. I don’t understand the complaints about assembly because i put both of these together by myself in less than 2 hours with ease- i would recommend using a power drill with a hex attachment if you have it to make life super easy. I bought an additional hook on ladder for the second bunk but i may still wind up using the included ladder because it feels like it adds to the overall stability of the beds. Frames are lightweight enough to move with ease but heavy enough to be sturdy. I purchased 6” bamboo gel mattresses to luxe up the simplicity of the frames. This took my bunkroom from sleeping 5 to sleeping 8 so overall I’m pleased. The low profile is fantastic for lower ceilings but you don’t feel like the top bunk is crushing the bottom bunk. These will only get used a few times a year but I’m hoping to get good longevity out of them.

    BUY IT!!

Perfect. I looked high and low for the perfect bunkbed! I didn’t even know they made low bunks like this. My 8 year old does not like to be up high so this is perfect because it’s short! It’s very sturdy! I have had metal bunks in the past and they were wobbly and squeaky, but not this one! Very sturdy! Easy assembly and It looks amazing! It doesn’t shake or wiggle! My son is is 8 and about 60lbs. The bed is super easy to make, I’m 5’ 2” and I can easily make the bed. Look no further, buy this bed!!!

    Sturdy bed

Daughter absolutely loves the bed. Plays with toys on the top bunk, sleeps on the bottom.

    Difficult assembly

The bunkbed arrived on time, it looks very nice in the guest room and seems sturdy enough. However, beware the assembly is over 200 pieces.

    Not for bigger children

Overall I like the style of this bunkbed, a couple of slats were damaged and bent when I took them out of the box. It is very easy to bend this metal so I was very careful with each piece as to not bend them during assembly . I have boys and they are very rough so I know I’ll be replacing this bunkbed within a year. I would say it’s good for toddlers or children who are not very rough. It took me about four hours for assembly (with the help of my 5 yo lol). The quality is ok considering the price.
