I ordered this set from a national sporting goods chains website, and I have to say I am very pleased with the set. The chairs are comfortable. The 3 x 3 table is large enough for my wife, myself and 2 guests to sit at comfortably without invading each others space. The umbrella was easy to open, in contrast to some of the other reviewers experiences. Im a skinny guy, so the 100 lb box was a bit much for me to handle once it was shipped, but I was able to roll it where it needed to go. The table then went together pretty easily. Slip the four legs in the guides under the table, bolt on the two center guides, and its done. Just eight bolts (hex key) and nuts. After that, I was able to pick up the table and easily carry it where I wanted it. I paid 120 30 shipping. At that price, how could I NOT order one and shrug it off as a loss if it doesnt last? One Louisiana summer will be my moneys worth for it. My ONLY complaint, if you want to call it that, is that the umbrella, while larger than I was expecting, and more than adequate, suddenly has me with umbrella envy. I saw a 9 umbrella on sale in another local store, and it seemed to dwarf the umbrella that comes with this set. I may upgrade the umbrella, just to have a larger shade area. I may not. Time will tell. Either way, I highly recommend this set to anyone. I am a renter, so its especially good for us. We wanted a good enough for now set. And this is it. When we get a permanent set after our home is built, well go all out with our outdoor seating area. For now, this sets perfect.
We dont use an umbrella in ours. Fits 4 comfortably with placemats and 2 bowls in the center of the table. Love that the chairs (comfortable) fold up completely and dry off very quickly when soaking wet. Arrived in beat up box, but glass only had minor scuff and can barely see it as glass is not completely transparent. Great quality for the price.
I live in Florida and almost every house in FL. has a Florida room which is located in the back of the house. Its perfect for my Florida room because the room has limited space.
Its nice and seems sturdier than some of the cheaper ones you can get at . I really only went with buying one off of because I had gift cards, but for the money it is worth it. The umbrella is VERY difficult to open and close (I have to stand on it to push it up/down) but other than that I dont have any complaints.
