Just received these bar stool chairs today and so far I am loving them. The assembly is a breeze (took less than ten minutes for both) and they are very comfortable. I am so glad I decided to buy these Even though its a bit costly compared to the other ones. the structure is sound and the design is flawless (which is worth the extra price)
Some things you NEED TO KNOW!!! The instructions do not tell you that you HAVE TO REMOVE the plastic insert from the part that slides over the pedestal. You can see this piece in pic 3. It blocks the adjustment lever from contacting the button that allowes adjustment of the pedestal height.
Turn the piece that bolts to the seat bottom so that it is right side up. You can see the piece that needs to be removed. It is where the tip of my screw driver is pointing in pic one.
Use a 3/8 or half inch ratchet extension or a woden dowell to knock this out with a hammer as seen in pic 2.
Once you have removed the entire plastic insert, assemble the chair per the instructions. Your bar stool will now work as designed and as you expected.
Also, use of a heat gun or hair dryer will make removing the 4 decals from the bottom of the seat bottom a lot easier. Use a solvent or GooGone to remove the remaining glue. I used laquer thinner with no issues.
The quality of the three that I bought was good. None of the nics that others have had.
My only issue was having to take the stools apart and diagnose the issue.
These stools look and feel more expensive than the price would indicate. Assembly was surprisingly fast and easy. The height adjustment works smoothly. Highly recommend.
I love this bar stool, its everything I want in a bar stool. It looks very nice in my home, the hydraulic lift on it is very responsive, and the design is both elegant, and comfortable. The bar stool offers full support for your entire body and I can sit in this stool for hours. The bar stool also s which is nice as well.
These are really great looking barstools but the hydraulics did not support my husbands weight. He sunk to below the counter height. We were replacing stools that have the ability to start higher and sink down to counter height back to the hunt. was great about the return, super easy and no hassle.
The quality is very good but the style is just too odd looking for me. The seat is very wide and deep and it felt like I was sliding out of it, and my hips are 41. They were easy to assemble and well/packaged. If you like the style, you wont be disappointed.
I bought 2 of these adjustable bar stools 5 years ago and paid 500 for each at a luxury furniture store. I loved them and used them everyday, however, my cat chewed the and destroyed them. I Shopped online and bought a different bar stool (100 for 998) and the cylinder was broken so I had to return them. I looked everywhere for these specific bar stools until I finally found them on . These are identical bar stools to my previous ones and the assembly was very easy (it does take 2 people and 15 minutes). I am over the moon to have these bar stools again. They are so beautiful and comfortable; they look a lot more expensive. I definitely recommend these bar stools.

They are a little unstable on carpet and the back support I would prefer to be taller but other than that they are nice looking and serve the purpose.
