My husband put this together with no problem and it is heavy and sturdy. I got it on sale so that was even better. Its exactly what I needed and it matches my jelly cabinet perfectly.
First let me say, I read the one star reviews and have come to the conclusion those people are brain dead. The product is awesome for the price and it sturdy enough to hold heavy models (made of metal) when used as a display case. I put lights in mine and its just cool as heck. Im buying two more. Ill upload pics later. BTW its not hard at all do assemble.
What I like about this cabinet:
1. It is easy for one person to assemble.
2. Its appearance is cute.
3. It is as sturdy as a small cabinet needs to be sturdy.
4. This is the size of the cabinet I needed. I looked everywhere, but could not find any other like this and this size.
What I disliked about this cabinet:
1. The doors could have been engineered better. When the designer designed this cabinet, they didnt think much about holding the doors in place within the cabinet. The doors tend to bump into each other or want to fall out of the cabinet. You have to adjust it from time to time. However, the customer can work with it to keep it in place.
2. The cabinet has a middle leg (5 legs all together) that seems unneeded because the cabinet seems to only want to stand on that middle leg, instead of the 4 corner legs, which makes the cabinet a little wobbly. I might just take that middle leg off and let it stand on just the 4 corner legs it should be standing on.
I was excited to get this, the assembly seemed pretty organized, everything was labeled by letter. Some of the instructions I found not clear, as I hammered the backside to the wrong side and had to do it all over again, leaving holes in the now front of my stand. The glass window covers that slide, had a broken wheel so it didnt measure the same as the other wheel, and there was no way for these doors to be secure at the top. Just a latch that sorta keeps them still but it doesnt actually attach to anything inside the stand. Frustrated that I cant even use the sliding doors. And the insertable middle shelf also doesnt fit and just falls down super easily.
This is exactly what I was looking for. It comes with many parts, but with patience it goes together very well. It took 2.5 hours and its best with 2 people.
Love the size and look of this piece, however there is some issues with quality. The corners of the piece come with these black plastic coverings but after removing them 2 outta the 4 corners were chipped underneath. Very noticeable. My husband refuses to rebuild another. Hope seller has some suggestions on what to do. Hate to return it but very very frustrating.
