    Excellent purchase!

I was hesitant on purchasing a bunk bed for many reasons, but once I was certain, I found this and am so happy I did! Its very sturdy and easy to assemble. A lot of pieces, but easy to follow instructions. I like that its not super chunky and takes up a lot of space. My boys bedroom is only 10x12 so this fit in perfectly, still giving them much room to play on the floor! Also, it fits a size twin mattress, NOT a twin XL.

    Solid As A Rock

This bed is solid as a rock... very heavy duty and will last a very long time... its looks good too... takes a while to put it together but there are a lot of parts.

    Sturdy.

This bunk bed is great. Very sturdy! But its a pain to put together. First the tool they sent didnt fit but we have Allen wrenches so no biggy. Second its so hard to tighten the bolts by hand. Two pieces in both me and my husbands hands and arms burned. So we ended up using our drill with a bit that fit and oh man so much easier! Still took us about 5 hours though to get it all done. All pieces came and were in great shape.

    Great purchase and sturdy

I got the natural pine. Really like it. The wood is attractive with no major flaws. It is way more sturdy than I was expecting. It took about 90 minutes to set up, but directions were easy to follow and we did not encounter any difficulties. Im overall pleased. Would buy again.

Sturdy Well Made Storage Drawer. Fantastic Customer Service

I am not sure how people got so confused about their order. If you read what is being shipped, instead of just looking at the pictures, you should have no problem. I happily purchased my trundle to use as extra storage. It is fantastic for that purpose because it is very strong and solid. I am currently using mine the long way (opposite as it was intended). I have it under my king size bed and have it filled edge to edge with stacks of my clothes. Even though the sides are a bit low, I am still able to stack jeans tees about 5 to 6 high. I have hoodies stacked in piles of three. It holds an incredible amount of clothes this way. Surprisingly, nothing tips over or falls out of the drawer when I pull it in or out. Trust me, I am constantly pulling it in and out, looking for one thing or another. I have had it a few months now, and am very pleased with how well it has taken all of my use. It always feels very solid and never twists or flexes when I am pulling on it. My trundle/ drawer was very easy to build. The directions were clear and straightforward. I was a bit worried when I discovered a piece missing (I think it fell out of a hole in the box during shipping). Either way, I was able to easily contact the seller through my orders page and they immediately sent my missing piece. I received it quickly and was able to finish the installation (adding my own wheels so that it would pull in and out in the opposite direction). I would definitely recommend this as storage or a trundle. I think it is perfect for a kids room because it will hold up to a lot of use. I love mine and only wish I had discovered it sooner. Its wonderful having so much extra room in my closet now!

    Just built 2 of these...

Just built 2 of these. It is helpful to have a power drill with bits. I would guess it will cut time by 30 to 45 minutes. It took about 2 hours to build the first and 1:45 to build the second. I used 6 inch mattresses and put thin OSB at $14 a piece from the local lumber yard for each as a better base. The slats and metal are fine but based on the mattresses and my 5 boys, I have had good lucknwoth thin wood. Boxes work well to spread the weight as well. The slats were a bit far apart for my taste so the small investment in wood solved that and only added .5 inches. Be careful about getting mattresses that are 6,7 or maybe 8 inches so you have plenty of height so kids dont roll off the bunks and have the protection they need. This is true of any bunk. A high matress reduces the preotection. We paid $740 for each. Seems solid, boards make the mattresses we bought feel even better. Overall, so far we are happy amd these are very nice looking and sturdy.
