I have to admit for a simple cart, this is a great design. It went together easily and looks very good considering it is not a piece of hickory or somesuch. It is perfect for working off a laptop or a pad. I get so sick of just SITTING in front of a computer this is the perfect solution. I will keep this one on my office and may just get another to keep on the patio for doing some work or even just pad browsing out there. So much healthier not to sit all the time. It is great that the height is and is plenty sturdy for a heavier laptop. The shelf below works for coffee and my reading glasses.both necessities! I applaud the designer.
This is just what I was looking for. I had one that I bought at Walmart. It had a huge footprint and was very unstable. Couldnt type without it shaking badly. This stand takes up very little space and is very stable. I love that it has extra storage space for books or cds, and the small shelf under the laptop is where I store my IPad. It was also very easy to assemble for a 70 year old woman.
This stand is really sturdy. Took me about 30/45 minutes to put it together. However, the plastic part where it locks the moing rod cracked. Could be my fault for turning too tight. Overall, I loved it. Great for work on laptop AFTER eating.

I recommend gently piercing through the laminate layer with your screw driver before screwing in the posts. Makes the work go a lot faster.
The height is prefect. Im using a stool (actually a music throne for drummers and keyboard players). The quality of the laminate is very clean. The overall structure is not flimsy at all. My knees dont hit the lower shelves. This is very important to me as I like to keep my posture.
There is plenty of space to place my 13.3 macbook pro and a coaster with my soda next to it.

I spent several months trying to choose the right laptop table for my new Macbook Pro and this one fit perfectly, easy to assemble, sturdy construction, MDF cover with PVC, made to last, with 5 years guarantee, ajustable height, space for books and others stuffs, its like a little mobil office. Id wish the top table could tilt, it would be perfect.
I have good analytical and mechanical skills, and I found the product relatively easy to assemble. (You must read the directions and lay the parts out.) The parts were all labeled and easy to position. I did not find any of the problems indicated by other reviews of this product. I did, however, read the directions and lay the parts out. My only error was placing the locking casters in the back and not the front, my error. It was not at the level of , so I gave assembly a 4.
The product works as indicated. It does require some weight in the bottom to prevent wobble / (Books will do just fine). The height adjustment seems to work and stay in place. (If they dont, it would be an easy matter to drill a whole to anchor the adjusting nuts, but so far this has not been needed. It does stick a bit on the carpet, but not enough to take of the wheels and put on carpet gliders as one reviewer did, but that would probably work well. Materials are of moderate quality, but worth what I paid for. (This is not a 500 and up desk.) For the product/price I rate is a 4.
The primary user is quite happy with the desk and likes the small foot print. She has a large tilting monitor and blue tooth keyboard and track pad. By tilting the monitor and moving the input devices it is easy to move from sit down to stand up desk. It is an adequate writing surface and easy for her to move. She rates it a 4.
I use it every day to avoid sitting at my desk all day. It would be nice if the surface was a bit larger to permit you to lay paper beside your laptop but other than that it is a great addition to my office.
