This was a great purchase. We bought it for our 6 and 8/year/old sons to use. Theres plenty of room on the bottom bunk for our oldest to sit up and still plenty of ceiling clearance on the top bunk. It was pretty easy to put together. My husband did most of it by himself and only needed me there for 1 step. The only real issue was some of the slat inserts on the frame were wonky, but my husband was able to put the in with some force.
I bought this bed to give our 5 year old more room to play in her small bedroom. Its perfect! I love how sleek and minimal it looks. It took my husband about 2.5 hours to assemble. We stuck some LED lights underneath plus a cubbie shelf from Target for more storage. Our kid absolutely loves it!
This is a really nice setup. While it is time consuming to build, it is intuitive. Its totally worth it, Im 240 lbs and can sit on the bed with both my kids and read. It is a standard twin, not an XL which is perfect for the kids, not so much for me. But it leaves plenty of space underneath for storage and activities.
Good bed very sturdy I wiegh about 210 and I throw my two 30 pound dogs up there with me before I go to sleep. So it me and my 2 dogs. Only major problem is the should make a little slice open where you get on top with the ladder and or round the top bar. Also the ladder should have rounded rungs the pointy edges really hurt sometimes more so when your bigger and the dig into your feet. Overall great product for the price though.
This was aming for the price. The aming finish and color are great. My only thing is that I did anchor it to the wall, I feel its needed for its size. Im confident in its construction but for my sons confidence I mounted it to wall.
Directions were very easy to follow. Easiest to lay out pieces First that go together. Very sturdy and well constructed. Great for small spaces. Full mattress fit perfectly.
If you have a small room, this works. If you want to build it by yourself, good luck lol. I had to have my brother help me hold everything. Not really clear with the directions but I figured it out. It is sturdy and does hold my weight and height. And im 250lbs and 510. All in all. Good bed
My handy husband assembled this in about 1.5 hours. A drill and a nicer Allen wrench is very helpful. We got it for our 2.5 year old daughter. I was a little nervous about a loft for a kiddo this young but one assembled its only about 30 inches off the ground. My daughter is really coordinated and has never fallen out of bed so Im comfortable with the height, plus it gives us some storage and a play area underneath. The bed is really sturdy (me, hubs, and daughter on it at the same time and super sturdy). We got the full so it can grow with her. Overall I highly recommemd!
I couldnt finish strengthening the top side rail with the extra boards on the outside due to a complete lack of drill holes in the board to even put them there. Its considerably less strong and bends so pressure applied has to be careful until a DIY improvisation can be figured out, massive disappointment after all the work.
Its a great bed other than that so Im really bummed that they would fall through on such an important safety issue.
It took my mother and I who are amateurs with this stuff hours to put it together because we were in a small bedroom so I recommend you have a larger space.

Hard to build, worth the effort

Might need to be anchored to wall.

This came with side rail boards missing drill holes.
