I really cant say, since I ordered the twin in espresso and received the full in . What I received is very sturdy considering I am a mostly grown man. I am using an 8 full size memory foam mattress, and I get adequate sleep. It was very heavy and hard to move while boxed, and I will have to disassemble it if I need to move it. Assembly required a hammer and an electric drill, not provided.
This was the perfect height for my child. Was able to put book shelves below amd create a reading nook/ lounge area underneath. I like how sturdy it is when put together. Would recommend.
I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didnt have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness.
Having to manually drill out every single self/tapping screw location with a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw just to have a shot at installing this bed was the most time/consuming, wood dust/producing, and disappointing experience Ive ever had. Make sure to have a Drill on hand, as I only had an impact driver, which would completely destroy the top of the screws. The boards that the mattress were half bowed, and the amount of room you have to screw the boards in makes it incredibly frustrating.
But after hours and hours of tedious work, the bed frame is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, and it allows for plenty of under/the/bed storage. I am 61 so I dont use the latter, I just jump in, which allows me to have 3 dresser drawers along the long side of the bed. Overall I would say get this bed if it fits your needs and you are looking for a cheaper alternative to some other loft beds. But keep a drill on hand, and dont attempt to use an impact driver to screw anything in.

Medicare quality
Mediocre quality. Weve been using it for just under 2 months and theres already paint shops and divots in the wood from climbing up and down.
perfect wish we had purchased this sooner

Good quality.
Very sturdy. Good quality. Perfect for creating more space in a small room.
Stable and doesnt squeak
Works great. Doesnt make noise when you climb or move around. Space underneath and desk are great.
Seems to be good quality after initial assembly

The pre/tapped holes are impossible to self tap by hand
