Love this piece! Looks just like I imagined and works so well in our space. Love the sturdiness of it but it does take a long time to put together, and would highly recommend two people for assembly. Would just take that much more time and effort if you attempted doing it solo.
We like the way it looks. We thought it was going to be solid wood because of the description. It is a flake board product. It is heavy and sturdy though. The finish is nice and it looks great in my den. It has plenty of storage for all types of electronics. The doors slide well. Overall it is a great product for the money.
The assembly was ok. We did stop a couple of times and scratch our heads, but we built it. You need 2 people to build it. It would be very difficult for 1 person alone. We had a fastener crack. Thank goodness for the bag of spare parts. It took us about 3 hours to build.
There was a chip on one of the sliding doors. We contacted and in days, we received a replacement door that was perfect.
It was worth the money. You do need patience to assemble it. Its sturdy and does the job.
Instructions were clear and easy to understand, but there were pre drilled holes that were out of alignment with the rest so couldnt securely fasten part 20 to 21, instead had to super glue it. Screws become stripped easily. But it looks great!
Its pretty, Ill give it that. Thats about it though. Its a cheaply made piece of furniture. It looks good now but I question how good it will look in a year. Its painted laminate on what I believe is particle board. Is also not very big. Some of the pieces dont have enough laminate so you can see part of the particle board along the edge. Ok for a 50in TV but wouldnt recommend anything larger than that. I wish I paid a bit more for better quality.
The quality of this stand is great for the price. It came with the best DIY instruction Ive ever had. Easy to follow and install. Decided not to use the decorative stand to keep it the height that I want.
This thing is the real deal. Everything is solid wood and metal besides the back paneling, which are enhanced for sturdiness with screw wedges. I run the wires into the side compartments so I have 0 wire mess and the doors slide back and forth for access, like smooth sliding barn doors (Ive never seen a barn with these doors). The wood is medium reclaimed and matches really well with other furniture. It fits my 60 tv perfectly and is a great focal point in my livingroom.
I bought this for my daughter for her new house. She didnt have a good place for her microwave. We put it together in a few hours and it is super cute!
Looks very nice, very sturdy, does not look or feel cheap, BUT difficult to assemble, just the beginning but then its a breeze. well worth the struggle. I love it! 10/10
