This unit is fairly solid and fairly easy to assemble. It is made of lower grade MDF (coarse), which does chip / split fairly easy / SO, YOU MUST BE CAREFUL IN INSTALLING FASTENERS / DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH PRESSURE, OR OVERTIGHTEN.
Unless you have a person to assist you to hold panels in place, while you fasten / you will need to take extra time and care / to avoid damaging the panels as you assemble them. Do not drive the dowels into place / most will fit easily into place. You risk splitting / cracking the MDF, otherwise. If you do not have a person to assist / either wait until you do. or. get some wood/worker clamps to hold panels in place, while assembling.
With appropriate care / you will have a pretty nice finished product, when youre finished.
Recommended for the purpose (inexpensive entertainment center, which requires care in assembly and care in moving and use). It is not a high/quality piece of furniture / it is an economic / practical alternative to high/priced products, you might purchase for a high/end home. Assemble and use in that context / and / you will be pleased!
This tv stand was a great find for a great price! It took about an hour and half to assemble with 2 people. The instructions are clear and youre given plenty extra parts if you happen to need them. Great functionality and aesthetically pleasing. 10/10
I received what looked like someones return from . It was a box taped up everywhere. I thought nothing of it until assembly. No instructions and missing three parts. Hard ware was in bags. I contacted the company and they sent me a whole new unit without having to return the crappy one which I was satisfied with. But assembly took FOREVER and due to unclear instructions we had to disassemble multiple parts and redo it three times. It was frustrating. We decided to keep this one until we die now
I bought this as a mothers day gift for my mom. I wanted to get one that was already assembled. But all the ones in the store were over 450 up to over 800. And they were not the style she wanted. This one is not real wood. but neither were the expensive ones. This one was a good price and the style she wanted.so I gambled and ordered it. I was afraid I was going to have trouble putting it together. I was afraid after I put it together that it would be flimsy and wobbly and would fall apart during the loading and delivery to her house in a neighboring state.
But to my surprise it was fairly easy to assemble. ( for those who refuse to read directions it would be very hard). It probably took me 3 to 5 hours to put it together but I wasnt in a hurry.
I really Ike that the doors could be closed into the center with the open shelves on the outside. Or u can push the doors to the outside and have the open shelves in the middle.
It is very sturdy and is very good quality for the price. The doors slide good too. I was afraid they would be hard to slide too.

Stand is better in person. Easy assembling. Everything is labeled took me 35 minutes to put together by myself.
