One of the best family purchases we ever made! With 5 cousins under the age of 6 this has already lasted us 3 full summers! Its the hit at family parties even with a few of the older kids who are around 8/9. Easy to setup and we always make sure to dry it out completely before storing. But on a 90 degree day it takes less than 30 minutes to dry! Great quality product!
This slide has been a big hit for our three year old, friends and family, and the neighborhood. Just like a bounce house, comes with a blower to keep inflated. The foot pegs are placed in appropriate positions that any toddler that can walk can climb it just as well as older children. Its held up to use and abuse by children and some adults. It even has a splash bucket like many water parks (where it fills up a bucket, then dumps). We only have two gripes about this slide, neither can really faults the slide itself:
1. Of course, you have to hook it up to a hose to get water and have the spray feature work. Hose (well/city) water, is freaking cold! You might get whining about how cold the water is from some kids. Ours did, but if he has someone to play with him on it, he doesnt complain.
2. Mold and mildew. One thing to consider is how much time you are willing to set aside to get this thing dried out before you put it in the storage bag (included). If you dont dry it out, youll have a stinky mess when you go to unfold it. It may not be a big deal to those who store these outside in a barn or whatnot, but ours gets placed inside in a catch-all room. We have found that draining the water from the hose and the pool at the bottom of the unit and leaving the blower running for a hour or two afterwards helps get it dry. Weve sometimes left it over night on the deck to dry out as well.
BEST slide ever! We had a previous brand one by Banzai and it finally died after a few summers. This is our first summer with this slide and its been great! It was no cheap, but it was worth the price to far. I would definitely deflate it then let it sit in the sun to dry before storing it away, avoid getting mold growing on it like our last slide. Im more careful with this one. I have a 5 yr old and a 7 yr old, they LOVE it, fits them perfectly plus 4 friends. I would not put more than 6 on this at a time, especially if they are bigger like 6/7 yrs old. The double slides are great to separate larger kids from smaller ones, but it still can get crazy. I like the small pool at the bottom, younger kids can sit in the middle and not get pummeled by bigger kids when the slide down. Its a good design for various ages using it at the same time. The sprayers work great, but you just have to adjust the velcro where they attach to make sure they are spraying on the slide and not into the grass.
No negatives yet, I will update if this changes.
My kids love this water slide. Its really easy to set up and take down. I only wish there was somehow a way to recycle the water versus having a constant flow of water from the hose. I hate the waste and he water never gets warm really. Otherwise we are really happy with the slide.
My 2 yr old son Loves this slide!!!! It holds up to him and 3 other toddlers at 1 time. We have had it a month and used it several times. It is so easy to set up and not terrible taking it down. Material seems like good quality. He plays on it for hours ! Absolutely worth the money! Would buy it again!
Hit of the birthday party! We used it without water, and it turned out great. The bounce house and Shetland pony received half as much interest. Friends and family have all requested to borrow it. I just wonder how much longer it will hold together
Bought it for our sons 4th birthday party. With 14 kids, it was the hit of the party. Great quality and have used it several times since. Worth the investment.
