I got this bench for my room more as a place to get extra shoes off the floor than for the seat. Its sturdy enough for an average sized person. The bench is handy and it looks nice. I wear a ladies size 8 1/2 and can fit four pairs of shoes on each shelf
Nice looking shoe rack. I purchased 2 racks, I would give it a 5/star but the shoe rack kind a jiggle due to uneven legs. Also, some of the holes to put the screw is uneven also. The metal that holds the seat looks kind a weak and not for big people to sat on. The metal that holds the shoes should be on top of the beach because the shoe rack part looks really sturdy than the one they used on top of the bench. Other than that, it is a perfect shoe rack.
I bought two of these to make a place for my grandkids to place shoes when they visit. It fit my space perfectly. they are very sturdy and no more shoes in front of the door.

I like this bench. You get just whats described. I wish it was a little taller. Its a bit of a drop for thoes of us with a little snow on our top.
