Overall, I am very pleased with this bed! You cant beat it for the price!
While it is time consuming and a bit tedious to assemble, as long as you follow the instructions, its fairly simple. I am a 25 year old female with no real experience building or assembling things, and I was pretty easily able to figure it out. My only complaint here is a few places in the instructions were incorrect (the magnetic holder for the drawer doors was shown on the wrong side in the instructions, for example.)
It is a very sturdy bed. The only iffy thing I can think of would be the boards that go under/hold the mattresses. Theyre a bit on the weak side. Thankfully, its an easy fit to make it more sturdy.
The slide is a little steep, but my kids very quickly adjusted and have so much fun!
I honestly couldnt be happier with my purchase. The little flaws I mentioned are really not a huge deal. If you want a good deal and something that will make both you and your kids extremely happy, this is probably the bed for you.
Very nice bed for smaller children, its pretty low to the ground and perfect height to where I can reach the top bunk and make the bed up, only thing I dont like is that the rail that goes across the bed on the side of the ladder, its a little flimsy not to bad but enough for me to notice, also maybe builders flaw but the ladder doesnt touch the ground fully only when climbing does it touch the ground.
No joke this bed is what the review say. Its sturdy, solid, and high quality. It does have a paint smell but so does the wall after I painted it. To handle that I just air the room out for a few days and that was the end of that. I have purchase 2 other bunkbeds in the past and never did I see a steel beam support under the beds. This bed is well made and the best $500 bunkbed investment this far.
This is a good bed. It was complicated to put together, though. I highly recommend using zip ties or rope/bungee cord to keep the base and headboard together as you place it in the frame (see picture for reference). Otherwise the little slats fall out and it is very annoying. Zip ties were a game changer (I used 24 heavy duty zip ties that we had on hand). The bed seems sturdy, but I was disappointed to see that the bolts caused two larger boards to crack. I expected better quality than that. My kids love their new beds, though.
The bed seems to be pretty nice overall. Weve been using it for 3 months with no major issues after it was set up. There were two issues with setting it up. The first issue as that one of the bolts wasnt manufactured correctly (the hole to put the allen wrench in wasnt punched out, so it couldnt be fully tightened). The other issue is that the screws for one of the slide holds was stripped out. I was able to use a larger deck screw instead with no issues.
Im super sad. Whoever cut the slats for underneath the mattress support...cut them way too short. They didnt reach across and the holes couldnt drill in on one side and then reach the other. That made it very hard to work with. Also our slide came with two cracks in it already. Will probably get worse each time its used.
My 2 boys absolutely love it. We have had it for about 2 weeks now. My boys are almost 9 and 5 years old. Last night I slept on the top bunk with my 5 yr old. It is comfortable and sturdy. So happy with the purchase.
Took us a couple of hours and wasnt too hard. Is really sturdy and didnt have any damage. If I had N complaint its that it could have been painted better. Its not painted horribly but it up close you can see some boards didnt have enough coats of paint! Overall we are satisfied.

Best bunkbed I have ever purchased

Great product!
So sturdy- great directions. My husband used his cordless drill which made it so much easier
Use zip ties to put together; some cracked wood.

Slats too short. Slide has cracks.
