Took several hours to put together but was well worth the effort. Instructions are fairly clear, make sure to account for every single part listed by lining them up and checking them off the list. Ours was missing one part six which was an essential component and we had to postpone our installation and request the part be shipped to us. The part came within a week or so and after some rearranging of schedules, I put it together with my brother. Hung battery operated lights through the bunk slats and around the top bunk for a bit of added flair. Suffice it to say both my (4yrs16months) absolutely love it!! Well worth the cost!!

We never bought something this expensive online before so we thought we were taking a risk. We are so glad we did. The love it and it was fairly easy to assemble. Directions easy to follow. Fast shipping! People that are saying the smell was bad / it was just initially after we got the boards out of the box within a day it was gone. Love this bed! So happy we got it.
There are lots of knots in the wood and have been covered with wood putty. The paint is sprayed on and thin, you can see through it to the wood in some places. The rails are rough wood with splinters, and you can still get to them from the bottom bunk. The drawers do not attach. There are three wood blocks that you are supposed to drill into the bottom frame but it doesnt say exactly where and how to use them the screw it says to use isnt even long enough to get through the block. The whole thing is wobbly and we plan to find ways to reinforce some of the areas as well as cover the splinter ridden rails. Pretty disappointed.wish we could have afforded something better but this will do for now. Also there is definitely a smell in the packaging. We wiped down all the pieces prior to putting them together and cracked a window.
The instructions were pretty minimal. It was time consuming however, according to my husband wasnt too hard. The pieces overall are well built and everything was individually packaged for easy find. He did have to modify a part on the drawer for it to fit right but it took 15 seconds. It felt very sturdy, and provides a decent amount of space between bottom and top bunk. The guard rail is sturdy and I have zero concerns with it not doing its job.
Would recommend for your kiddos and if you are on a tight budget.

Its was definitely not a easy job
I dislike that the Allen wrench was too small. Also doing the drawers the wood breaks very easy. Overall the bed is nice and my loves it.
