    Pretty awesome bed!

My kids love this bed and it has been a bed so far!

    Good buy with minor modifications

I have 2 preschoolers and 1 preteen. All fit comfortably on twin mattress with room to grow. The overhead bunk is not as sturdy as the bunks and sometimes sways with too much movement. Definitely a space saver in a smaller room. Easy instructions and assembly doesn't take too much time. I would recommend getting a board of some sort to put under the mattress as an additional safety measure.

    BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!

i spent hours for days looking for the perfect bunk beds for my kids, and with this price i was pretty skeptical even with all the great reviews. however, when it went a sale, we decided to bite the bullet and give it a chance. i am SO GLAD we did! this bunk bed is awesome! im 52 and 115lb and i climb up there every night with my kids to lay with them to sleep without any issues at all! i also make their bed every morning. it is so easy to go up and down the ladders, and its definitely sturdy enough to hold both my children and myself up there all at once. the quality is great, the shipping was faster than expected, and its gorgeous! i highly recommend this purchase! the extra storage underneath the one bunk is such an awesome bonus! we have made it into a fort/hangout area for our kids. highly recommend! UPDATE: the unit was a little tall for us, so we cut each leg and the one ladder down 5inches. it cut beautifully and is holding up great!

Sturdy, didn't take as long as I thought

I live with my in-laws and my 3 kids share a room. As my son no longer fits in a toddler bed, it was time to get something different. They also wanted more room to play in their room instead of everywhere else, so this was purchased. I admit, price was a big factor in my decision to buy this, but it is a sturdy set of beds! It took my father-in-law and I maybe 6 hours altogether over the course of a few days to actually assemble, not counting the disassembly of the old beds and cleanup/rearranging of the bedroom. Either of us probably could have done it solo (he's 60, I'm a rather weak mom), but the extra set of hands helped with balancing things and saved time. I did end up annoyed about a third of the way through and dug out the power screwdriver with allen head, so that saved a bunch of time and tired hands. My kids have climbed all over the thing, my son has fallen down the ladder (we TOLD him not to climb down backwards!), my eldest can't put on a fitted sheet to save her life, the bottom bunk is now a cave with a blanket hanging from above, they all love their new beds and I think it will last a good long time.

Decent bed for the price, but below average customer service.

Decent product for the price. One box arrived damaged, damaging products inside. Tried contacting customer service never received a reply. Very frustrating considering the amount of. Obey for damaged structural pieces.

First review in 8 years being a customer

Just to give you a heads up, I've been on for years, ordered more stuff than you can imagine. I really loved this bed when we first set it up. It's huge. Bigger than most bunk beds I've ever seen. With that being said, my first issue is the lack of stability. I have the 3 part bunk beds in the L-shaped. I got up on the top to make the bunk bed (im 4'9 and 120 pounds) and it shook so bad I felt very anxious (which is rare). Other than that, the few weeks I had no complaints. Not until my 6 year old went to go up the steps and fell from the top. The instability I mentioned before apparently came into play. The second issue that played a role is the fact of the lack of width in the individual steps plus the grip that is not on the stairs. He slipped and fell straight off and got a bruised rib because of it. I have 3 boys. All 3 are extremely calmed natured and know furniture is not to be played with. Even with that in mind, it caused a serious injury. I would only post a review if it was absolutely important. I also understand with children that when a child is injured you need to make sure the child didn't misuse the item and to make sure it wasn't parental error or neglect. This injury was purely due to small issues that were not handled. I also thought since it was solid wood, it was safe. I was wrong. It smelled of strong chemicals for almost 2 weeks. I have stained and refinished furniture and have never smelled anything like that. You assume (and I know assuming is dangerous) that if you are spending over $600 on a bed, you will get value and safety. While the bed is huge, it is far from sturdy and worth the value. Bottom line, look locally-owned. For a price similar to that, you can find one that is not full of chemicals from overseas. Especially once lumber prices go down this summer. I have shopped with for years. After this i will not only discontinuing purchasing from them, I will look at places like wayfair and Overstock.com instead. Side note: I know they say they can't control third party vendors but I disagree. If they have Artificial intelligence and cookie tracking to the point where they can follow certain markers to personalize individual choices of millions of people closer than any company in history, why can't they ensure the safety of a company and product (in quick terms there are more people than corporations and they can personalize the shopping experience for an individual, why can't they hold a fraction of those numbers that are companies to a common bottom line of product)

Sad I spent to much money for less quality

The sturdiness isn't very sturdy I have small children and the bed keeps shifting away so basically it's stripping the screws and getting weak.
