wow, is this a huge improvement from what we were using prior to this.
we were a little worried when the package arrived- the box was pretty beat up and we could see what looked like the black shelves destroyed to bits on the corners. so we were expecting the whole thing to be shattered and broken but were relieved when we opened the package and the broken boards we saw on the outside were extra boards just to protect the real entertainment center pieces. everything was labeled, the instructions were easy to follow, and the only tricky part was getting the doors on after everything else was assembled.
Likes: Fairly attractive, realistic faux wood finish; beveled glass doors; adjustable shelving; relatively sturdy; supports my 46 smart TV nicely; cable ports in the back. Dowels and glue help reinforce the joints.
Dislikes: Those cheesy cast-zinc camlock fasteners; I have no shortage of experience with carpentry and broke 3 of them without overtorquing. Chintzy little decals to hide otherwise exposed camlocks.
Other: The shipping carton looked like it went through a war zone, but the inner carton was intact and the product was undamaged due to intelligent packing. Im not fond of MDF products but Im on a slender budget so this will have to suffice. For the money, this is a relatively good product except for the very weak camlocks. The TV stand is relatively easy to assemble, but I strongly recommend that you read all the instructions and follow them to the letter.
This really is a nice piece of furniture. The assembly is not trivial (took me about 2 hours), but the instructions are excellent, and everything goes together perfectly. Good illustrations and text instructions too -- far superior to the weird drawings from that well-known Swedish outfit. I did cut and drill some holes in the back to accommodate deep units (like the Dish Hopper 3 -- this needs holes for each cable) but its easy to do this without compromising appearance or strength. Great product; highly recommended.
My Husband put it together and he didnt have too hard of a time, just a lot of parts. We love it, saves space. Looks great, holds our xbox one, and controllers, along with other misc stuff.

Excellent cabinet for Corner space - Cumbersome Assembly
Nice looking cabinet that fit perfectly and the corner. Assembly was a little cumbersome especially with the smaller screws for the door.
