The desk is great all the negative reviews that I see are people putting it together wrong or not reading the instructions. A screw popped out of the top of the dest in a review I read and saw he used the longer screw in the wrong spot. People are breaking the bolts cause there tightening down the bolts way to much when it say to secure them at 70% get it stood up and then tighten them a little more not hulk out on a leg bolt. And yes it's scratch resistant but don't put it together face down on a hard wood floor sliding the pieces back and forth to make them fit will cause some scratches that way. If you stop and take your time with it and do it right you will have no problems it's a great desk
I was disappointed with it. Had rust in a few places, scratches, scuffs, smudges. Some of the nail holes were damaged. It was definitely defective and Im pretty sure I received a used one due to all the mess. Had to improvise and drill into a different location without messing everything up. Oh, and one of the boards that is supposed to hold the bottom was badly damaged. Made it very unsturdy. So had to provide my own to keep everything together well. Big let down and inconvenience but fixing it was better than boxing it back up and taking back to UPS.
The desk fits it perfect in my sons bedroom love the design. My only complaint is that the top of the desk gathers dust and must be clean frequently also the structure of the base leaves barely any room for computer or base speakers.

I had some hiccups caused by FedEx, but after contacting the seller; they resolved everything! I had a replacement desk very quickly. I put it together before Christmas and I didn't time how long it took to assemble, but it went pretty fast.

Assembly we couldn't attach the additional space saving shelf on top of the desk because it broke right in my hand prior to mounting it on the desk.
The product looks ok after he placed his equipment on the desk, that's why we kept it. However, don't waste your money, it looks like a previously used item.
We were satisfied with my granddaughter's desk that we purchased from the same company, it's not a l-shaped desk and it is white.
I'm not saying the company is bad, I'm saying don't buy this particular desk.

Incorrect Hardware
The table is nice However I wasnt able to add the cup holder or attach the table shelf to the table due to incorrect hardware.
