We bought this for our mature 4 year old who we thought would be just fine navigating the ladder. We have found though that when hes tired the ladder can be a little tricky for him. I know also makes a version with stairs, and so I wish they could be purchased separately since the stairs would be great to use right now, but certainly as our son gets older the ladder Im sure would be just fine.
I have a 15 year old daughter, which is who I bought this bed for. We had to move her into a smaller bedroom which she was not happy about. I had the idea to get her a loft bed to help increase the amount of floor space. Well she loves her room now. The bed is stylish and sturdy. It did take 2 adults to assemble, but the instructions were clear. She has a small couch and TV underneath, so shes got her only little babe cave as we call it. And you cant beat the price.
This bed is awesome!!! Im 21 years old and have a bunny. I needed a full bed that is high so my bun cant jump up on my bed. My previous loft bed was sooooooo wobbly, a twin, and uncomfortable. I used the space underneath to make my bunnys night time space for when i go to bed. Its perfect!! Its so so sturdy too. The assembly took my dad and i about 3-4 hours but were also not very handy lol. If youre young, an adult, in between, i really recommend this bed! (It also smells so good lol my room smells like fresh pine wood or something)
We have had this loft bed for one year and it has worked well. Our 13 year old son loves it. Its sturdy. Our son helped assemble this with his dad/my husband. It took them a couple of hours and seemed fairly easy to assemble.
I got this bed after moving back home due to school going virtual. My parent had downsized to an apartment after I went to college and space was limited. I needed a space to sleep and study. Its a 2 person job to put this bed together. Overall though, I have no complaints. Im a 22 female; 140 pounds and the bed has a good amount of sturdiness. I think its a great value for the money.
I bought this for my 16 yr old son. It wasnt to hard to put together. We did it together and it took a couple hours, taking our time. My only complaint is that one of the long support beams (which are not solid beams but put together tongue and groove style) split within a few mos of putting this together. I would also suggest getting a bunkie board for under the mattress. Otherwise its pretty sturdy. My sons a big kid, and it holds him well. Theres tons of storage room underneath.
Love, Love, Love this loft bed !!!! We just renovated my 6 yr old daughters bedroom. She absolutely loves her new bed. She plays, reads, hides and naps under the loft ! We decorated it with her girly pillows and toys. Mommy is 55 and she can sit under there with her. She fits perfectly and doesnt bump her head. Four to five small children can fit and play underneathe together !
We opened the 3 heavy boxes and took inventory of all the parts; everything was there with a few extras just in case. We took our time to study the diagram and put it together. Wish the instructions were more detailed but my husband had a lot of patience and got it together in a few hours with a bag of cheetos!
We have a 650 sq ft. space and needed bunk beds for 2 adults. The 3 extra drawers under the stairway are spacious and glide open well. Steps are sturdy and hold 185 lb. adult easily. Well designed, modern look. Fits 9 high twin mattresses. Overall height is perfect for our low ceilings. We made it look modern, spacious and cozy. Doesnt look like a childs bunk bed when we put our linens and pillows on it and its fun to sleep in!
