Easy to assemble and the bed is sturdy. I added a 1/2 sheet of plywood on top of the wooden planks used to support the mattress. With that we could use a foam mattress instead of a box spring.
Beautiful, sturdy, and loved by my 9 year old. Only recommendation is to have two people to put it together. It took me 3 hours to put together, which I thought was pretty great, but an extra set of hands to hold the other side would of saved me an hour. Love that the bed is sturdy enough that 2 people (total of 300 pounds) can be up top. Lots of space underneath to put a dresser (2) and small chair, just have to duck. My only complaint is making it, its difficult to change the sheets, but the trade off in space saved is worth it.
I love it! You can see some of the nubs and screws on the side but it is not that bad! It is super spacious and perfect if you need alot of storage space! I love it!
Almost perfect bed!
The materiels seem quality, it arrived packed well in a long, heavy box. The outside was beat up but the pieces were fine. The different screws and pieces were helpfully seperated out, and the instructions were easy to follow. Except! Watch out for pieces that look identical but have very small differences - twice we missed very tiny indications that were not clear in the instructions and made mistakes, thankfully they were easily fixed by drilling new holes on our own. You definitely need a power drill, and a better allen wrench than the one they provide would help, too. Assembled, its very sturdy and is really great, my four-year-old loves it. Plenty of room to play underneath. One complaint is that the top step doesnt have much room for your foot (its ok now but as she gets older and her feet grow they wont fit on the step), see photo. However, based on all the other bed designs I came across, these are a lot better than a lot of other step designs.
Overall definitely recommend!

Its great for kids and teens. Great for small spaces but Its a little wobbly and have yo be thighting the screws every now and then.

Warped boards
Pretty color (Gray) but pieces are not clearly marked and several boards are warped. I had higher expectations for this bed.
