9 year old loves this bed! Very easy to put together. It does seem to loosen up and need tightening every other week. This bed has made a big difference in floor space. More enjoyable for my child to spend time in the room.
This bed is everything for your toddlers room!! Its the perfect height for toddlers they can still act crazy but not fall and really hurt themselves lol. I was able to put a small clubhouse underneath it. Does not take up to much room. My 4 year old loves it!!
I would like to see the main posts and cross beams be a little more robust. We trimmed the height to just about 46 due to the height of out ceilings. We are still finishing off the space below the bed. My daughter now has a great place to study, put her musical instruments and store some clothing. We purchased a floor couch where she does her homework. She even decorated the area with fairy lights making it a true oasis to focus on her work and hang out with friends.
Sturdy and easy to build. Great price for bed! One piece did come with the dowel hole and screw hole reversed but we ordered an additional bed and took the right part out of it and UPS picked up the other bed that we swapped the part out of.
We recently bought one for our middle-school aged daughter, who needed more space in her bedroom, exchanging a Queen mattress and frame for this full-sized loft bed. It arrived in one large box, very well packaged. Everything was intact. The instructions were easy to understand, and it took us well under 2 hours to put it together and set it up. That said, it helps having three people at times, rather than two. Once up, its attractive and seems quite stable. As soon as we got this assembled, with mattress, were were impressed enough to buy a second one for our youngest daughter.
Middle school daughter loves this bed! She likes the privacy from younger sister. Very space saving. She has her private desk area underneath. Wouldnt nrecommend to younger age group. Good quality for price. Make sure mattress no more is 6 inches thick because of railing.
