Im 52 and put these bad boys together myself. I absolutely love them. Its now been months and they are still in great condition and comfortable. Spilled salad dressing on one and it came out ! Thank god. Would have been lame if it didnt. So, yes. Excellent. Theyre also a compact size, not large.
I ordered 2 of these chairs. Each was manageable to lift with myself and one other person up the stairs to my apartment. Each chair was packaged well with styrofoam and plywood. Chairs are easy so easy to assemble. The base is all pre assembled and you only have to attach the legs and slide the back into position. The club size fits perfect in small rooms or apartments. The comfort is fantastic. I like these better than that big box brand with an L and Z in their name that I have owned and replaced a few times before. I highly recommend these!
It took my husband about seven minutes to assemble. He used to be in the furniture repair business and he knows good furniture from bad furniture. He asked me how much I paid and when I told him he looked very surprised. I asked him and he said that for that kind of money its an excellent-quality chair. Its MY chair in the living room and I am in love. It is so comfortable, and our living room is small and its not really wide.
I bought this chair so I could have a recliner in a small space. Ive been using it as my nursing station chair since Ive recently come home with a newborn. It is a good looking chair and all my company comments on how they like it. I am 53 and if I were any taller I wouldnt be able to sit in t comfortably for reclining purposes. You have to slide down in order to rest your head and then my hair gets stuck in the buttons and my calves are rather sore from the hard edge of the leg rest. I wish when you were in the recliner position that the back had the option to sit upright rather than laying back. It is comfortable enough for the price, but I wouldnt get it for the main purpose of relaxation.
In the photos, the coloring looks gray, but it is definitely more white than gray. The colors still work for our home and the chair is great for the price so we are keeping it. Definitely not a chair for tall people. My husband is 58 and his legs and head hanging off. At 52 it works for me.
Color, fabric and look is what we were really expecting. We like how they look at home. They may be a little fragile for comercial use. The sofas arrived earlier than expected. I recommend the purchase.
