Ive only had the bed for a few hours so, these are just first impressions. Ill try to remember to update in a few weeks.
Had some shipping damage but it was VERY minimal and was just superficial. One of the ladders sides was dinged up but the UPS guy apologized and reported that the box was damaged upon delivery so we could claim it easier if needed. That aside, this bed is AWESOME for the price! The quality is pretty high given the price point. Only had one or two quality issues and they were an easy fix. One was just drew placement for the bracket on the slide. The pre marked hole was right inline with a bolt. Not a big deal. The other was purely cosmetic. Had something red (paint splatter, maybe) that bled through the white paint on a rail that supports the bed. I put that on the bottom of the back side. Ill never see it. The bed is incredibly sturdy and my kids LOVE the slide! It was even super easy to put together. I think it took me about 1 1/2 hours or so to get all together by myself. Instructions were very good with detailed pictures, which I like over small print telling me what goes where. So far, I would highly recommend this one. Its even solid wood and not made in China! Cant go wrong with it!

The only con and reason why I gave it 4 stars was due to the instructions, not the easiest to follow on some steps but we took our time, separated our pieces and had no issues. Overall this is by far the best bunkbed I have seen and was actually cheaper than any store we looked at.
I looked for awhile between different bunk beds for our toddlers I wanted something that was particularly non toxic sturdy and short.
This hit all my checks off my list.

Its the right size and the kids like it. There were chunks of wood missing where the holes were drilled and also at the top of the slide. The instructions were pretty bad. The top safety rail was very wobbly. The rest of the bed seems very sturdy though. Id say it was worth at least 200 less than I paid.
My son loves his big boy bed. My husband didnt wind up in the ER trying to assemble it and I think its a good value for the price. Its pretty sturdy, especially with the metal bar that goes across the length. I like that the ladder is at an angle and not just completely vertical. Its really low to the ground so its a great transition bed for little ones and not as scary when they are able to sleep on the top bunk. The low height makes changing sheets a bit of a struggle but its worth it for the piece of mind of having him closer to the ground.
Directions were easy to understand. Took about an hour to assemble with one other person. Quality materials. Only thing that should include is the hatchet hex wrench that comes in all Zinus products!
Easy to assemble. Really good material. Ford just perfect. I will place foam underneath the top bunk. Just because I dont want them bumping their heads. I love the ladder isnt an attachment you have to drill it in. So I dont have to worry about them playing with it. Will review again later to see how long this last. Im still waiting for their new mattresses.

I didnt put this together but I was looking over it with my husband as he put it together and I was so confused. They should really consider updating the instructions. However, it wasnt impossible but couldve completed it faster if there were actual words instead of just pictures.
