I bought this one to replace one I could not get a part to repair it. For over a year my son tried to make contact with the manufacturer to replace the power supply. They never got back to us. Very poor customer service. If we get the same customer service, if needed, it will be the last purchase we make. If I didnt need this chair, Im 76, we would have passed.
I bought this for my elderly mother who has back trouble. She says its really comfortable and loves the heat and vibration. The cup holders are nice because she always has to have water nearby. Assembly was easy, my son and I had it together in 15 or 20 minutes no problem. Used a zip tie to gather all the wires up underneath and tie them to the frame to keep them out of the way.
i can get to a standing position which helps me and my caregivers. i wish it would lay flatter as i currently sleep in it, but its not too bad. otherwise quite comfortable. mechanism is silent.
Chair came in 2 boxes. Had to put arms and back on chair. Other than one cord being up inside the back it was easy assembly. Instructions are just diagrams but easy to follow. 80 year old loves the comfort of the chair and is learning how to run the heat and massage.
Brought this for a friend of mine who had to have radiation on her buttocks in addition to be in her 80s. She could not get comfortable. This chair has prepared her for the future for those tough days of getting to her feet as well as having fun in her new chair.
