I did not want to spend 150 on the base, so I bought eight 16 inch square pavers and placed them two deep into each corner of the cross shaped frame.which holds it down well. Each paver weighs 37 lbs which is over 300 lbs. Then I used bricks to sit on top of the exposed frame .flower pots on top of pavers.looks much more beautiful than big black plastic thing!! My iPad will not take a photo at this time( such a fickle friend ) . I got the 10 ft square size use I think you loose some shade with the round shape. I am very happy so far. We will see how it ages. BTW I spent 40 on the pavers.a bargain!
Cast good shade, but we havent had any really bad weather yet here in South Florida. Well see what happens when the wind starts to blow. So far, so good.
Umbrella looks to be well built, and pretty easy to position/fold/unfold. The material for the canopy could be a bit thicker but seems to be durable enough. I was hoping for more of a canvas type material at this price point but its not that thick.
A big plus on this umbrella is that its structure is primarily made from aluminum which precludes rusting. However, some brackets and small parts are steel and will rust over time. The base requires concrete weights to hold the umbrella in place. Weights are not included with this umbrella, but it doesnt look like they are included with any other umbrella either.
One issue I had out of the box was missing cranks that control the rotation and unfolding of the umbrella. support (via email) was quick to send out the missing cranks which was appreciated.
The umbrella and base (optional/water/sand) seem to be very well made. We have had several wind events since the umbrella has been up and there has been no issues with the umbrella in the stored position. I do notice when the wind is between 15/20 the umbrella does start to sway a little in the extended position (but not an issue). The included cover is a nice benefit and easy to put on and off.
The instructions could be better. They are in small print for one and they could included better detail in the description. The optional base is nice and sturdy but the umbrella is difficult to move even though the base does have wheels. Overall I am very please the product.
Love this umbrella! Its exactly what we wanted for our patio! Its easy to use and the square shape covers a large area! We actually installed it in the ground so we didnt have to use the large base. We looked at many before deciding on this one its definitely worth the money!
We love the umbrella so much we bought two! Its very easy to use and the customer service is superb. They were quick to respond to our questions and very helpful!!!

Made in the shade.
Big and sturdy, provides a nice shady spot on the deck. Big enough to shade all the chairs around the table. Easy to retract or expand.
Good product but was damaged
The umbrella came in damaged
Nice Product
Easy to install and operate. Looks great too. Highly recommend.
This umbrella is not ergonomically built! It cannot stand up on its own when open.
IT FELL ON MY FAMILY IN 90 DEGREES WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO WIND
Dont need to buy the expensive base

Pricey but seems pretty solid

Sturdy Construction / 10 foot x 10 foot square
