I paid only 91 for this table so did not expect a perfect finish. The finish over softwood was rough but not bad quality giving a natural/looking mix of colors. There were blemishes but on backside or not very evident. I like the lightweight design; you can easily carry the pieces to assembly location.
I was looking for something small to set our router and security system dvr on. This was perfect. (Please excuse the hard painted walls as we are in the middle of a remodel.) When I say this took less than 3 minutes to put together I mean it. This was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever built. I wish other furniture companies would take notes. I ordered the distressed cream colored one. It came in way more than what I was hoping, but its fine. Very minimal distressing to it, again, ai was hoping for me. When tightened down the legs didnt quite match up in terms of leveling, but I played with unscrewing q leg or two just a bit to get the levelness it needed. For 85 it works for what I need.
Table was just want I needed to fit the space I wanted it to. Easy to assembleno tools neededand I think it is beautiful. Added a lace runner and we are very happy. May order another for my daughter.
Using this as an entryway table. Perfect size! Crafted very well (one drawer is a little harder to open than the other but not an issue), sturdy, cute, and it came basically together other than putting the legs and bottom shelf on which didnt take long at all. Recommend!
UPDATE: Not sure why so many people have had so many issues with their table. Its not a 500 table so its not going to be perfect (although mine is fine). Cracks, etc., I can understand are damaged goods but you cant expect Ethan Allan quality for a 100/150 table. Still loving ours and its now decorated for the holidays in our foyer. (strung small strand of lights underneath using tiny 3M Command hooks.)
I got the black one, it was easy to put together it is sturdy but some of the black spray paint they used did not cover it very well, its look rough maybe not sanded to well before hand, I may paint over those areas .Im glad I didnt pay full price and got the sale price
The assembly was incredibly easy. My 4 year old helped put it together and very likely could have done it without help. The table is super cute and goes well with the coastal cottage style my mom likes. It was a gift, but I may order one for my foyer!!
