I bought this for my 7 year old niece who needed a bed fast. It does the job and it looks cute in her room. Her bed is up against a wall. If it werent, I think the mattress would slide off a lot. She has a regular twin mattress and it does look a bit small on the frame. There is no box springs. In the future I will likely buy her a twin XXL mattress to use with this frame. Its an okay bed for a small child - definitely not for a heavier/older child. It does feel sturdy but the mattress doesnt stay securely in place.
I purchased this bed because it states you do not need a box spring for mattress can just lay on the slats, Beautiful And that it is Sturdy. It was delivered over a week ago and I am waiting for mattress to arrive in two more days so I put the bed together together today. Bed is Beautiful, Very Sturdy. Was easy to put together. Was really excited until realized I cant use the bed which is the Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The slats for bed are 6 inches apart and memory foam mattress requires that the stats be only 2 =3 inches apart to prevent mattress from sagging and warranty requirements. I dont know what Im going to to as threw away the box. 100% satisfaction
My little cousin (11) I assembled the bed and risers together. We used the picture instructions provided and it was easy peasy. The bed is very sturdy and the risers are high enough that I still have room under the bed. Now I just need new doggy stairs. Highly recommend!
There wasnt but 1 short review when I ordered but took a chance. This is a nice, twin size bed. It took my husband about 35 minutes to assemble. He said it was not hard and had no issues (he is not super handy either). Its matte black. The footboard is very short but I like that. It is very easy to move around with mattress on it. My husband and I moved it around to another spot in room with little effort and moved it right back. This is good and bad. Easy for me alone to move it around if my daughter wants to change up room but also makes it seem cheapy, as in too lightweight. But it doesnt look cheap and doesnt squeak at all. One annoying thing to point out is when we lifted up mattress to put on a full mattress cover (encasement), one of the rods going across fell off. While I held mattress, my husband had to pick it up and re-insert it. The slats just lay across and fit into grooves. Im hoping it fell out because he didnt originally install it good and we wont experience there again. Mattress does move around and the reason I had selected this platform bed was because it looked like the side bars are higher than the slats which would allow the mattress to not slide. Well it does, at the foot end, gets crooked. 11yo daughter has not complained but I just see it crooked each time I go in room, even though day before I pushed it back in place. But for the price of under $90 something when I purchased, its a great bed for the price. We have it about a month now. received with good condition... thanks seller... good job

Easy to assemble, glides across carpet well. Sturdy enough for an adult. This is a great piece. Bought it for the basement family room and it fits perfectly down there.
At first I was intimidated by all the parts but then I realize it was probably the most easiest bed Ive put together. Its sturdy and feels effortless moving the bed around. It looks great too! Easy to put together, comfy and just as easy to disassemble when moving
